✨ A little update from Marie Walker Hair ✨

As the salon continues to grow and evolve, I wanted to share a few exciting changes that will come into effect from Sunday 16th August.

Firstly, thank you so much to every single one of you who supports my small business. Being able to create beautiful, healthy hair in a calm, relaxing environment is something I genuinely love, and I’m so grateful to have such wonderful clients who trust me with their hair. 💜

As my business evolves, I’m refining my services to better reflect the time, expertise and personalised approach that goes into every appointment.

✨ A small price adjustment will be introduced across selected services. This allows me to continue investing in premium products, ongoing education and the one-to-one experience you’ve come to expect from Marie Walker Hair.

✨ Kids’ cut pricing update
To keep my pricing simple and fair, children’s pricing will now apply to ages 12 and under. From 13 years onwards, appointments will be charged at the adult cut price, as they require the same time, skill and styling as an adult appointment.

A fully tailored colour experience for anyone looking for a transformation, dimensional colour, grey blending, balayage, full head highlights or a bespoke combination of techniques designed just for you.

Every colour appointment will continue to be tailored to your hair goals, lifestyle and, most importantly, the health of your hair—because beautiful colour starts with healthy hair.

All new appointments booked from 16th August onwards will be charged at the updated prices. Any appointments already booked and secured will, of course, remain at the original price.

Things you might find strange about me as a hairdresser 🤣💜

💜 I don’t colour my hair anymore — haven’t for a while now! I stick to colour-conditioning masks to keep it fresh.

💜 I hate getting my hair washed. Wet hands touching my neck gives me the absolute ick 😅 Although, I do love a good head massage!

💜 I’m not a fan of hair-ups or occasion hair. I’ll happily recommend someone amazing who specialises in them instead.

💜 I don’t even cut my son’s hair! He goes to a barber who can work their magic with all the funky fades — I’d have no idea where to start 🤣

💜 I honestly have no idea where the idea to become a hairdresser came from, but little introverted me absolutely loves it and couldn’t imagine doing anything else 🥰

If you’re one of my regulars (especially Sunday or late night Wednesday clients), here’s where your appointment might land:

💫 4-weekly clients
4 weeks from today → 17th May
Next → 14th June
Then → 12th July (during my holiday)

💫 5-weekly clients
5 weeks from today → 24th May
Next → 28th June
Then → 2nd August

💫 6-weekly clients
6 weeks from today → 31st May
Next → 12th July (this falls during my holiday)

If your dates land during my time off, you’ll want to book slightly earlier or just after I’m back to stay on track.

Sunday & late night Wednesdays go first, so if those are your usual slots, don’t leave it too late, some are already full.
