Glitz & Glamour are proud to announce we’ve secured a flypass for The Battle of Britain Memorial flight ✈️

This Sunday June 7 th 300 walkers some walking 13 miles and some walking 26 miles, will be setting off across the beautiful Derbyshire countryside raising much needed funds for The Derby Breast Test Appeal and The Gynae Cancer Research Funds all for The Derby & Burton Hospital’s.
Last year on Thursday May 29 th our brave, beautiful Marie (Mary) sadly lost her fight with this cruel disease and was taken from us. She loved Glitz & Glamour and helped so much with things. So this years walk is dedicated to her.

A year ago today we lost the beautiful Marie, the salons never been the same without her. On Sunday 7th June, the glitz & glamour walk will take place, for the third year. Kay Platt is such an inspiration for all the hard work and determination she puts into these events. I’ll pop the just giving page on here, and dig deep for this fantastic cause.

The Glitz & Glamour team are very proud and extremely honoured to announce we have 8 local firefighters walking our 26 miles this year in there full kits!
They are doing this as they know of so many ladies and gents that this awful disease has touched.
Remember the statistics are very low with around 400 annually but men can still be diagnosed with breast cancer.
