I am so pleased on Mother’s Day to announce that together with we raised £700 for the fund we support Moldova Gromada run by volunteers in Ukraine. We received a confirmation from the fund that donations were spent on
Medicine, vitamins, head torches, thermoinsulated mats, etc..

UPDATE. We raised approx £600 !!! Yay!!!

Thanks you all who donated through me to the fund I support, Moloda Gromada. I do believe the best way we can assist with the ongoing crisis in Ukraine are direct donations as they reach the people who need it quickly and allow charities on the front line to react with what is needed in real time.

Inna Starchikova( Executive Director of the Moloda Gromada) has evacuated from Odesa with her 2 children to the west part of Ukraine as Odesa is still under threat of attack, and returned to her voluntary work straight away as she settles in- here is an update on how the money was spent so far:

Protein bars - 40
Warm winter socks - 7
Sleeping bags - 10
Thermoinsulated mats - 10
Medicine (painkillers, anti-cold,anti-inflammatory)
