Stop following skincare trends!!

One of the biggest mistakes I see people making with their skincare is following trends on social media. Just because one product works for someone else absolutely does not mean that it will work for you. Everyone’s skin is different, has different needs and reacts differently to different products. For example, someone with incredibly dry skin does not need the same products in their routine as someone struggling with acne and breakouts🌼

I appreciate it is super hard to keep up with skincare these days, there are so many products in the skincare industry and it is extremely difficult to guess what is best for you without any knowledge or guidance. Your skin going red after Microneedling is not something to be worried about, it is actually something you should be looking for and here’s why…

Microneedling stimulates your body’s natural healing system, which essentially keeps the skin renewing each month. It is done by the process of pushing slim, fine needles below the surface of the skin to create micro wounds. Your body then initially pushes blood, oxygen and nutrients to the surface of the skin to prepare for healing. This is the first part of the healing process, meaning the treatment is working and your body is doing its job!✨

Redness should only last a couple of days at most and the healing process will continue without the initial redness. I am all moved in !!🥳

I have finally completed my move into my new room! There are still some things I need to add on the walls and sort a little seating area etc, however, there is nothing stopping me from working from there as of this week, so this is what I will be doing🎊

I really need to up my game on creating content for my social media🙈So I am going to have appointments available at 25% off for my first 2 weeks at Min’s HOWEVER you must be comfortable with getting videos/photos taken and then posted on my social media - these appointments will need to be booked in via DM. If you are not comfortable with this, you can still come in as normal, but at normal price rate🥰

Super exciting news for True Skin…

I’m relocating !!✨✨

I am moving into and will be based in here as of the week starting the 6th of April. I am so excited for this next chapter of my little business and I can’t wait to show you all the new space! I will be posting all about it as I move in and make sure to keep you all updated with pictures and what to expect as you come in etc.🫶🏽

This also means that I will be able to work more days. I will be renting out this room 7 days a week, so I will be able to have clients in on days that best suit them, rather than just my usual strict Thursday and Saturday schedule. I still have my part time job where I get different shifts each week, so my main days will still be Thursdays and Saturdays in clinic, however, it means that if I have a free morning or evening I will be able to spend this time in clinic. Please keep in mind that I will only be able to book you in outside of Thursdays and Saturdays 2 weeks in advance, as this is when I get my schedule🌼

Finally I just wanted to say a massive thank you so much to Michelle and everyone else at .ashington for being so welcoming and making me feel so comfortable. I’m so grateful to have moved into the little beauty room when I literally had nothing, with no idea how anything would work out and if I would even be able to afford to pay off my rent each month. I am sad to be leaving but so excited to see how this next chapter works out for me🥹

Let’s talk high frequency🧖‍♀️

What is high frequency?
High frequency is a non-invasive approach to skin rejuvenation, quickly healing and restoring your skins health. It uses neon and argon gas filled glass electrodes and a mild electrical current to produce enriched oxygen molecules🌿
