Just a little bit about me,
I started my hairdressing training at age 16 when I started working at a small salon in the village of Stoke Mandeville. In my opinion it was the best start I could have had to my career. Working in a small salon with my two bosses I had first hand training on all the important basics in hairdressing and customer service. This is where my passion for hairdressing but p
articularly hair up began. I achieved both my NVQ level 1 and 2 as part of a modern apprenticeship. After 5 years of learning all I could and wanting a challenge I moved onto a bigger salon in Aylesbury town centre. Here I began learning again, from different colouring techniques and cutting techniques to working as part of a big team and on a time limit. I was lucky enough during my time at this salon to be put on creative cutting and colouring courses with well known hairdressing brands such as Toni and Guy, Wella and Goldwell and took everything I could from them. I also began doing my Nvq level 3 here but after becoming much more confident in my ability as a hairdresser I decided to start up on my own where I could take all I had learnt and do it my way. Whilst setting up my mobile business I completed my NVQ level 3 and built up a client list that I was happy with. After a few years of solely doing mobile work and loving it, I decided I wanted to be back in salon but still have my business, i worked in two salons following this decision the latter of which I ended up joining the team full time as Salon Manager and was lucky enough that the majority of my own clientele followed me. It was here I found my feet and became comfortable with the hairdresser I am today. I am excited and happy to be going back to my very loyal clients at there homes and look forward to gaining many more. I work with Wella colouring products and I also stock the very high regarded Olaplex. This product takes hairdressing to its extreme and enables me results that before it was present were unachievable. My real passion within my trade is wedding hair and all hair up in general. I have been fortunate enough to be a part of many a brides big day and and every time it is so special. I do offer a bridal package and I am always very honoured to play a part it somebody's big day.
