Tricia’s funeral is at Ayr Crematorium on Friday 25th March at 4.15pm.
From there we’ll head to The Ayrshire & Galloway Hotel for a party to celebrate her, have some laughs and of course in true Tricia style- she’s going to buy you all a drink.
She asked me to ask you all to wear bright colours- no need for black ties. There will be a collection for Ayrshire Hospice at the service.

Hello gang 👋🏽

It’s Lorna here- Tricia’s sister.
Wanted to tell you all that my brilliant sister found peace last night at 17.30.
She was such a trooper right to the end- making us laugh and being her funny self. We took great joy thinking that she died just when she would have closed the shop for the night- and under a cracking full moon.
Tricia was the heart and soul of JAX and she wanted me to say a great big thank you to you all for the banter and laughs through her working life.
I’ll post details of her funeral as soon as they are confirmed. You are all welcome to come and join us to celebrate her and say thank you and goodbye.
I’ll be keeping an eye on her facebook until then.

Wee update guys. Well I managed to get home at the weekend from hospital eventually. Feeling good. Now to build up the strength a little and then I will be looking for all these pints you all promised 😂

Wee update for you all peeps. Final radiotherapy treatment was on Friday and boy do I feel good. Even managed to get my pain meds reduced and some no oxygen time also 😁 all going in the right direction. 💪 Winner winner chicken dinner 😁😁😁😁

5k for a month Help Ryan Beveridge raise money to support Macmillan Cancer Support

My very kind nephew is running 5k a day for the full month of March to raise funds for Mcmillan cancer since ive had my stage 4 cancer diagnosis. Running isn't his thing but i know he will try his damn hardest to make this a success for him and McMillan and make his Aunty proud 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️
ANY small donation would greatly appreciated to this incredible charity. 🙏

Hi gang, it’s Trish here- so the jungle drums are beating and thought i’d give you an update myself since I've just kind of fell off the face of the earth recently.

Unfortunatly yes it's TRUE, the outcome is not good and it's the dreaded stage 4 C 🤍🎗 😬.
The shop might be closed but my heart is still beating and the positive Trish pants are still on. I will miss you all as I have built a great bond of friendships over the years, in fact I am truly humbled at the amount wanting to take me for a pint 🍺😂
I will do a wee update soon and in in the meantime keep those good vibes up for me ❤. Here is one for your dart boards in case your missing me 😂😂😂

🚨Update. 🚨

Hi everyone.
As most of you know the shop has been closed as I have been unwell. 😢
As I need time to concentrate on my health it's with a heavy heart that I have decided not to continue with the lease and the shop will not reopen.😭 💔

I would just like to thank you all for your custom and for the laughs you have given me over the years. I couldn't have asked for a better bunch of customers 🥰
I take away some very funny stories that will always keep me smiling and laughing 😁😂
Hopefully you have some of your own that will remind you of the mad place. 😁
