In the past two weeks, I've had 5 no-shows. That might not sound like a lot, but it adds up to £250 in lost income.
Like anyone else, I go to work expecting to be paid for the time I've set aside. When a client simply doesn't turn up, that's an appointment slot I can't fill at short notice, and it's income I can't get back.
I completely understand that life happens, emergencies come up, and plans can change. All I ask is for a quick message or call to let me know. Most situations can be worked around when there's communication.
Thankfully, this doesn't happen often, but when it does, it's upsetting and, quite honestly, very disrespectful of my time and livelihood.
Because of the recent increase in no-shows, no further appointments will be booked or secured without the required deposit being paid. This policy is in place to protect my business and ensure appointment times are respected.
