Want healthy hair ready for summer? 💆🏽‍♀️

Here are some simple tips that can make a big difference in maintaining strong, healthy hair.

Sleep smart 🛏️
- Switching from cotton to a silk pillowcase can help reduce frizz, breakage, and moisture loss.
- At night, keep hair in a protective style to avoid tangles and damage. A loose braid or plait secured with a silk scrunchie is a great option.

Healthy scalp = healthy hair 🙂
- Oiling your scalp 1–2 times a week can improve scalp health and support hair growth.
- Gently massaging the scalp helps increase blood flow to the hair follicles, allowing them to receive essential nutrients.

Choose the right hair products 🧴
- Use shampoos and styling products that are sulphate-free to avoid stripping natural oils.
- Always choose products suited to your hair type and check ingredient lists for best results.

Be gentle with your hair
- Hair is most fragile when wet, so handle it with care.
- When brushing, start from the ends and work your way up to prevent snapping and unnecessary breakage.

Trim regularly 💇🏽‍♀️
- Trimming your hair every 8–12 weeks helps remove split ends and prevents further damage, allowing hair to grow healthier over time.

Health skin isn’t just about skin care, it’s about your daily habits too! 🥒💧

🚫Don’t pick at your skin or spots that may appear on the skin! Picking creates bacteria and scaring and even worsen the spot making it big and angry!

🚫 Don’t skip your SPF! Even on the days you are indoors all day or even in the winter when the sun is not shining you still need your SPF!
UV damage can lead to pigmentation, fine lines and even premature ageing even indoors!! 🧴

🚫 Avoid using hot water on your skin daily.
This can cause the skin to dry out as it strips the skin of its natural oils! 🚿

🚫 Don’t skin your skin care!
Keep a constant skin care routine! Consistency is always key for health balanced skin!🧴

✅ Change your pillow cases 1-2 times a week!
This helps to remove bacteria which helps to minimise break outs! Investing in a silk pillow case can help to avoid friction on the skin and helps to prevent bacteria. These are also perfect for the health of your hair!! 🛏️

✅ Ensure you are always double cleansing! This helps to ensure all dirt and makeup is removed from the skin before you apply your skin care products. This helps to minimise breakouts and makes the skin feel refreshed. 😶‍🌫️

✅ Always use a fresh face towel when drying the face. This helps to prevent the spread of bacteria on the skin causing breakouts! 🦠

✅ Support the skin from within! Always ensure you are eating your 5 a day and incorporating health foods to your diet to help support the skins function and help the skin shine from the gut! Bad gut = bad skin! 🥗
Always ensure you are drinking around 2 litres of water a day to help support the skin!! 💧💧

✅ Always remove makeup at the end of the day! This is vital to ensure you prevent breakouts, prevents the clogging of pores and helps to get rid of any dullness😶‍🌫️
