I wanted to be open and honest with you all about why things may have seemed difficult for me recently. The past few months have been some of the hardest of my life, and the ongoing stress and personal conflict I have experienced have taken a significant toll on my wellbeing.

As many of you may know, I live with bipolar disorder. One of the hardest parts of living with bipolar is that prolonged stress, uncertainty, and emotional conflict can have a much greater impact on mental wellbeing. During periods like this, emotions can feel heightened, anxiety can become overwhelming, and it’s very hard to manage my mood swings

Over recent months, I have experienced immense stress, anxiety, panic attacks, and periods where I have felt emotionally exhausted. There have been times when I have been more sensitive than usual, and navigating daily life alongside running a business has been incredibly challenging.

Running a business while navigating personal challenges has not been easy, but my passion for what I do and the support from my clients have kept me going. Your kindness, messages, and continued loyalty have meant more to me than you will ever know.

This experience has also taught me the importance of boundaries, protecting my peace, and prioritising my wellbeing. While this chapter has been incredibly difficult, I am choosing to focus on healing, stability, and the future. Despite everything, one thing I have realised is that I cannot allow personal circumstances to affect my work or the service I provide to my clients.

My focus now is on healing, moving forward, and continuing to provide the best possible service to all of my clients.Thank you to everyone who has shown me kindness, patience, and support during this difficult period. ♥️

I’m so sorry for having to cancel all of today’s appointments at such short notice.

The recent situation has had a much bigger impact on me than I expected and has left me feeling extremely stressed . The stress and anxiety became so intense that I was awake throughout the night and was physically sick with panic attacks, leaving me in no condition to work today.

I hate letting people down and feel awful for any inconvenience this has caused. I have contacted everyone to get appointments rearranged as soon as possible.Thank you so much for your patience, understanding, and kindness. I really do appreciate it ♥️ Sid

I would like to address some of the confusion surrounding recent events and provide clarity moving forward.Due to a legally binding lease agreement currently in place Leanne will remain at the premises and existing arrangements will continue as agreed.

I understand there has been a lot of uncertainty and mixed information, and we sincerely apologise for any confusion or concern this situation may have caused. I appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while matters have been addressed.Our priority remains ensuring stability for our clients and maintaining the standards of service that you have come to expect from us. Business will continue to operate as normal, with appointments, services, and commitments carrying on as usual.

While the circumstances have been extremely challenging, my focus now is on moving forward professionally, honouring my legal obligations, and continuing to provide the best possible experience for my clients.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!
This is not something I ever wanted or expected to announce, and I’m truly sorry that it has come to this. It honestly breaks my heart having to make this decision and share this news but after careful consideration, I want to announce that Leanika will no longer be part of Bad&Boujee as of 23rd of next month . Her last working day at the salon will be the 23rd of June .

Because of the current situation that has brought us to this point, along with personal issues and a breakdown in trust, the decision has been made for us to go our separate ways professionally and personally . In the meantime, Leanika will be arranging another location to work from , and once everything is confirmed, her new location will be announced to help ensure as smooth a transition as possible for her clients.

Despite the circumstances, I want to thank her for the time and effort she contributed to the business, and I genuinely wish her nothing but the best and every success in the future.

I also want to make it clear that I do not want this situation to negatively affect anyone else involved, and I’d appreciate everyone remaining respectful as we both move forward separately.
