Tuesday 10-7.30
Wednesday 9.30-5.30
Thursday 10-7.30
Friday 9.30-5.30
Saturday 9-3
Sunday CLOSED

After working all hours god send we need a little more structure and a better work life balance. So these are the new salon opening hours, we will no longer be ‘squeezing’ people in and working while 8pm and onwards most nights. We understand people work and may want an after work appointment but those slots are precious, few and far between so please make sure you book in advance if you are wanting an evening or weekend appointment.
SATURDAYS will remain only open every other weekend, we don’t work every weekend, so again please book in advance.

By us being strict with our hours, means we enjoy our work more, you as a client get a much better service as we arnt over worked, and it stops us from getting burn out. We love all our clients so much and only want you to receive the best service ✨

I just wanted to share some updates about my services and what I am going to be doing in salon as of the week commencing 11th August 2025.

There’s going to be some adjustments to the services I am going to be offering and some with a slight price increase. With all the training I have done and research I have put into finding the best products, I am going to be following my dream goal in becoming more specialised in alternative/textured styles. All this means is when my diary does become open to new clients it will only be for my specialised work, which I am so passionate about 🤍

We all know I adjusted my prices in January as it was crucial for me and the salon, with hoping to hold off having to rise again in April, which luckily I could. But due to on going price of everything going up I am having to change some things to be able to sustain my little salon which you all know how much I love ✨🤍

Also with me now being pregnant please be patient as I come into autumn/winter time I may have to reduce hours or rearrange people depending on how my body is feeling. (Let’s pray for no inflammation on those feet 😂)
Or due to midwife appointments/scans etc

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns about any of this as you all know I try my best to fit everyone’s budget and needs.

This beautiful human came and took a seat in my chair after not having his hair cut in 14 months!

It was the first time he had been to a hairdresser and not a barber, so obviously the first time me cutting his hair. Which I understand, that s**ts scary! It takes a lot to go to someone new, being in a different environment and having a different kind of service to what your used too. I was also a lil nervous, seen I was doing a models hair 👀💁🏼‍♀️ so the pressure was on to get him leaving feeling great

But we chatted and worked out that he wanted to be able to wear his hair out as well as it still being long enough to wear it in braids.

We discussed after care and I showed him how to wash and style his hair out properly to achieve the look he was going for…

Who keeps on top of there training?

Today I had a full afternoon with the lovely Danielle from for some in house training!

What ever trade you’re in, you can always improve or learn new skills. Especially in the hair and beauty industry, techniques and trends are always changing.

I can’t express how important it is to have regular training, not only for your clients but for yourself. You feel confident in your work and have more drive for your job!

‘Knowledge is power’ don’t forget it

Who else is sick of this dull weather and feels like it’s rubbing off on them!?

This clients colour was done over 2 years ago! Low maintenance, is meant to be as LOW MAINTENANCE as you want it to be!
You don’t have to be in the salon every 8 weeks for a freshen up, you can go as long as you want too before returning back to the salon and your colour will still be looking good…

But this s**tty weather also doesn’t make us feel our best, but getting our hair brighten up definitely does 😻

to all my loved and valued customers, due to visiting my accountant on Monday I am having to reevaluate my pricing structure to enable Hair Institution survives…

I was hoping to hold off until the 1st of April but unfortunately it will have to take effect sooner rather then later.

So from the 1st February some services will incur a price increase and then will be assessed every financial year.

If you have any questions about pricing please do not hesitate to ask, feel free to drop me a message.
Any service can be adapted to accommodate your budget 🤍
