‼️PLEASE READ - BIAB UPDATE‼️

I strive for transparency at all times and so I wanted to update you on something currently happening within the nail industry that some of you may have seen online.

The Gel Bottle Inc has changed the formula of some of their BIAB products, removing HEMA, without telling professionals. While HEMA-free can be beneficial for those with sensitivities or allergies, the lack of communication to nail techs around such a significant change has caused a huge stir in the industry to where yesterday I received and email of apologies from the founder of TGB. As a technician who has been loyal to this brand for several years and built a large part of Eden Beauty around BIAB, it’s disappointing that this was not communicated transparently.
The annoying bit is if they had communicated the change in formulation then a change in procedure of applying a base coat underneath could have prevented issues.
Not everyone will notice a difference, however some clients may experience quicker lifting.

After much pondering, I have made the decision to adapt my procedure to the new recommended way of using the product and I believe now they will be on it from here onwards to come up with an even better formula but if I find it is not working for me and my clients then I will be searching elsewhere for the perfect product because I want perfect nails!
