24-Hour Nailathon for HBA Support

On Saturday 11th July, I will be taking on a 24-hour Nailathon in aid of HBA Support, a charity that works closely with and supports families and patients affected by brain aneurysms.

I have chosen this charity because, in 2019, my dad became one of the unfortunate 3% of people who suffer a brain aneurysm. We nearly lost him. Although he survived, the aneurysm changed his life forever.

My dad was left paralysed from the waist down and suffers from severe memory loss. Some days, he doesn’t know who we are. He now lives in a funded care home, where he receives full-time care and support, and he faces daily challenges that most of us could never imagine.

The dad we knew and loved was taken from us that day, and seeing him suffer has been heartbreaking for our family. This is why raising money for HBA Support means so much to me.

I would be incredibly grateful for any support you can give, whether that’s:

20% of the cost of every nail appointment during the Nailathon will be donated directly to HBA Support.
