The eyebrow healing process ❤️‍🩹

Top row - My 2 year old faded brows ready for a new set.

Day 1 & 2.
Eyebrows are a little swollen & slightly red (inflammation) in areas after the procedure. Due to oxidation & excess pigment, eyebrows will at this stage be at their darkest. The swelling of the eyebrows will also make them feel slightly thicker. This thicker, darker stage is temporary and part of the bodies natural healing process.

Middle row - Day 3, 4 & 5.

Swelling has reduced and the eyebrows are back to normal size. As the skin starts to heal tiny scabs are formed to create a protective layer making the brows look dark still. This stage can be a little itchy! The darkness is again temporary and the scabs will start to flake off around day 5.

Bottom row - Day 6, 7 & 8.

As the scabs start to come away the eyebrows will be flakey & the colour will start to look a little uneven in areas. Once brows are fully healed they will reveal a softer, lighter colour.

Everyone heals different. Some faster than others. Some will retain pigment better than others. It is essential that you follow the aftercare advice we give you to ensure you get the best possible healed result for you.

Oily skin like this can be difficult to tattoo due to the open pores but I’m so pleased that we still able to achieve some beautiful dainty hairstrokes.

My client has had alopecia totalis since the age of 1. She’d previously had them tattooed elsewhere but came to me wanting a more realistic look.

Using the Hyperrealism method we created better symmetry & a fuller looking natural brow. She honestly looks amazing & we’re both so pleased with them 🥰

My client first came to me almost 2 years ago asking me to correct her old PMU brows. She was self conscious of them & wouldn’t leave the house without pencilling them in. I recommended that she have some sessions of laser tattoo removal before coming back to me so that we could start a fresh.

Yesterday I was finally able to give my client the brows of her dreams & she cried happy tears when she saw the results. ‘You don’t understand what you do for people Emily, this means so much to me’ ♥️

Laser tattoo removal may seem daunting at first thought but you’re always better to start with a blank canvas. The end results are definitely worth it!

I didn’t prepare a big new years post. Christmas, life & illness got in the way & if I’m honest I’m still picking up the pieces 😆

But I’m going to make a promise to you, to stay true to who I am…

I’m not going to pretend I’m going to be more active on the socials because that’s not me (it stresses me out way more than it should), and I’ll probably continue to float in and out depending on what life throws at me.

I’m also not going to pretend that 2026 is going to be any better than 2025 because to be fair I’m still buzzing about last year’s achievements & the launch of my new Training Academy. I’m still the same me and I’m going to continue to do what I love in exactly the same way.
