Had the absolute pleasure of seeing one of the babies from my baby reflexology and massage class today.

We were working on supportive techniques to help with an issue, where this adorable bundle hated being touched on her shoulders.

I firstly showed which reflexes to work on the feet and hands and how I would work them, dad then took a turn .

We then got to massage and using different touch and techniques went over the shoulders again me demonstrating and then dad using the same movements.

The baby loved it and was so much more receptive to her shoulders being massaged and it is my conclusion that the reflexology helped start the process of letting go of what was being held here and the massage supported it.

At the end of the session she did some fantastic stretches and mum reported a monster sleep which is very unusual.

Can’t wait to see them again next month, but looking forward to regular updates.

Thought for the day

Today I had the honour of treating someone who is going through a cancer journey. It is always a privilege to be trusted by anyone, but when people are vulnerable and allow you to help try and alleviate symptoms and stress, that is really special.

The flowers were a thank you and were very unexpected and very welcome .
