A little reminder that Beauty By Liv is more than just nails. It’s me, my little pink garden salon, a million ideas at 2am, and a perfectionist who physically cannot let you leave with a nail out of place 😭😅

I started building this business at 18 years old, and since then every appointment, every client, every late night and every goal has helped shape this brand into what it is today 🩷

Now qualified in beauty therapy, nail technology and education & training, I’ve built a business that’s so much more than “just getting your nails done”. I wanted to create a space where clients feel comfortable, looked after and genuinely excited to come to their appointments 🎀

Whether we’re doing a simple BIAB infill, full nail art chaos, a silent appointment, or solving all of life’s problems over a coffee and snacks… this salon is your safe space ✨

And honestly… the community we’ve built means everything to me 🥹

Little Leicester Business Trip 🤍

Took myself off to Leicester for the ‘Let’s Talk Business’ event and honestly… it was the best decision. This was my 2nd retreat day with NTO and my 3rd event overall, so at this point I’m basically part of the furniture (still taking notes like it’s my first day though!) 🙈

A day full of learning, meeting other nail techs, and feeling very “I need to get my life together” but in a motivating way, not in a depressing way! 😅

I met the most amazing women🥰

& met up with my friend from past events 🩷

From pretending I knew what I was doing in aesthetic photos, to actually taking notes like a serious businesswoman, to making new connections and having a very questionable but delicious lunch… it was one of those days that reminds you why you started in the first place☺️

From January this year onwards, I’ve found myself struggling in regard to my business, with what to do and where to go next. I feel the urge to progress and start new ventures within my business but there’s always something in the way… well not anymore. I’m going to be running my business how I want to, not how it pleases everybody else!

And that starts with; ONLY using the booking system for appointments (not dm to book), updating my cancellation/no show policies, and being more honest to myself what type of people my ideal clients are. All to ensure everyone gets the BEST quality service from me! 💅🏼

Safe to say I’ve come home with a head full of ideas, newfound motivation & a notes app that’s doing overtime 😳

Super fair, straight lashes = lifted, darker and visible👏🏼
We worked absolute wonders if I do say so myself. Photos aren’t my strongest skill yet, but trust me, the lashes understood the assignment 😂🙌🏼
