Box dye gone wrong, and guess what it happens more often than not!

Many people use box dye as a quick fix or a cheaper alternative, but they are soooo unpredictable!!
Just look at my ladies hair on the left, it's safe to say this was not her desired look.

Colour corrections can be very timely and costly and in most cases bleach is the go to, but this time, bleach wasnt an option. Her hair just couldn't take it.

So I applied Matrix Anti Brass toner on damp hair to try and minimise the brass as much as i can before applying a tint, and i was really impressed with how it worked!
I mean, we can still see some of them brassy/red tones underneath. Its not perfect, but its an improvement and she was so happy!
