12th November 2024 we lost an amazing women my nan to cancer. I still think about her everyday and get teary thinking about how much I miss her 💔. She truly brought a smile to everyone's faces and could always light up a room and get a party started.

It has made me realise that there needs to be more awareness around the symptoms of cancers like bowel cancer that have symptoms you might not pick up on as easily as well as the amount of money needed for the charities doing the research and supporting those with cancer.

This month I am taking on running 31 miles for the month of may, however because I know i can do that and it wouldn't be a real challenge im aiming to double that and do 62 miles (just under 100km).

This is just the start of my fundraising journey and plan for each challenge to be tougher than the last. Watching some of the amazing events that have been happening recently and the people who ive followed on their journeys including the Manchester marathon, bpn go one more ultra and london marathon it has inspired me to do more and push myself harder.

Most of my miles will be done outside and some alongside my usual workouts so follow along as i update with mileage completed.
