💙 ✨ ZO Expert Trained ✨💙
This week, I had the pleasure of attending advanced ZO Skin Health training in London with the wonderful Mel, focusing on the science behind the formulations and why these products achieve the results they do. 👌🏼
For me, this has never simply been about selling or recommending products. It is about understanding the skin, identifying the underlying concern and creating a targeted, evidence-based plan that can make a meaningful difference.
Skin concerns can have a significant impact on confidence and wellbeing, so helping someone feel more comfortable and confident in their own skin is where I gain the greatest professional satisfaction. 🙏🏼
What I also love about ZO Skin Health is that it recognises its leading accounts through the Circle Club. Last year, I achieved Silver status, and this year I am working towards Gold. 💪🏼
That achievement represents far more than product sales. To me, it reflects patient trust, continued education, strong clinical outcomes and the ongoing growth of the skin health side of my practice.
The more I learn, the better I am able to educate, support and guide my patients and that will always remain at the heart of what I do. 💙

Acne is one of the most complex skin conditions to treat because it’s rarely caused by one single factor.
While genetics can influence how acne behaves, hormones, gut issues, stress, nutrition, lifestyle, sleep and skincare can all affect how active it becomes. That’s why every treatment plan I create is tailored to the individual.
Treating acne isn’t just about clearing the skin it’s about understanding what’s driving it in the first place 👌🏼
For this patient, our approach combined a personalised ZO Skin Health programme, including retinol, with carefully selected in-clinic treatments. Alongside this, she made positive changes to her nutrition and daily habits to better support her skin from within.
These results weren’t achieved through one treatment or one product. They came from the combination of the right skincare, targeted in-clinic treatments, lifestyle changes and, most importantly, consistency.
Eight months later, this is where we are.💪🏼
Healthy skin takes time. It requires patience, commitment and trusting the process, but when you do, the results speak for themselves. 🤍✨

One thing I always say to my patients is this…
Don’t underestimate what you do at home.
Professional treatments are important, but they’re only part of the journey. Healthy skin is built by the small things you do consistently every single day.
Anyone who knows me knows I’m a huge advocate of ZO Skin Health. I recommend it because I use it myself, I trust it, and I’ve seen first-hand the difference it’s made not only to my own skin, but to so many of my patients’ too.
There isn’t a miracle product or a quick fix. If you’re ever promised otherwise during a consultation, I’d encourage you to ask questions ! Healthy skin is built through consistency, using the right products for your skin and trusting the process. ✨

Not every treatment is about correcting a skin concern ✨
Sometimes your skin is already healthy, but you want to take it to the next level.
Microneedling isn’t just for acne scarring, pigmentation or ageing concerns. It can also be used to refresh the skin, stimulate collagen production and improve overall skin quality.
Benefits can include:
✔ Improved skin texture
✔ Refined pores
✔ Enhanced radiance
✔ Smoother makeup application
✔ Healthier, more resilient skin
My patient didn’t have problematic skin. She simply wanted to refresh her complexion and support long-term skin health through collagen stimulation.
These images were taken after just 2 SkinPen treatments from a recommended course of 3.
As you can see, the changes are subtle yet noticeable, brighter, healthier-looking skin with improved texture and radiance.
Sometimes the goal isn’t transformation, it’s optimisation 👌🏼

A few years ago, my definition of success looked very different.
These days, I value balance, health, happiness, family, friendships and doing work that I genuinely love.
The older I get, the more I realise that success isn’t measured by what you have, it’s measured by how you feel.
And right now, I’m very grateful 🤍✨

Skin transformation is about so much more than what you can see on the surface ✨
When this patient first came to see me, she was concerned by textural irregularities, acne scarring and pigmentation.
It can be tempting to focus solely on what is visible, but healthy skin isn’t built by chasing symptoms alone. To achieve long-term results, we first needed to address what was driving these changes within the skin.
Using a bespoke ZO Skin Health protocol, our initial focus was to stabilise the skin by reducing inflammation and restoring barrier function. This created a stronger, more resilient foundation before introducing corrective treatments.
Due to my patient’s lifestyle and preference to avoid the more intensive anticipated reactions often associated with retinol-based programmes, we have not yet introduced retinol into her treatment plan.
Instead, we achieved these results through a combination of carefully selected in-clinic treatments, including microneedling and a series of superficial and medium-depth chemical peels, alongside a personalised ZO Skin health home care programme.
Only once the skin was functioning more effectively could we begin targeting texture, pigmentation and scarring.
One of the biggest misconceptions in skincare is that results happen overnight. In reality, skin transformation requires patience, consistency and a structured approach. There will often be periods where the skin is adjusting, repairing and renewing before significant improvements become visible.
The beautiful results we see today are not the result of a single treatment or product, but a commitment to the process, patience and a plan tailored to the individual 🤍✨
