If you are a woman who gets her nails done regularly, then you know about Shellac/Gelish. It is a gel based nail polish that has taken the manicure world by storm. I think of it as a cross between having acrylic nails and a standard manicure…the best of both worlds. It looks as though you’ve just had a regular manicure and your nails have been polished with a super high gloss regular nail polish, but has all of the benefits of acrylics (meaning they last for 2 weeks without chipping, they dry and set immediately after sitting under the special UV or LED light – which means no smudging or dry time AT all, and they also allow your regular nails to grow). Acrylic nails are outdated and don’t have the classic look a standard manicure. If you’ve ever had a gel manicure, you know that it all seems like the best invention in the world.
