Bank holidays are always a popular wedding choice but this weekend took the prize for the busiest ever . 21st-25th we had five brides, 18 bridesmaids, 4 moms, not to mention aunts, sister in laws, friends and a florist! Throw in the beauty excellence awards dinner, a birthday party and bbq and you have yourself one wiped out wifey. Yes I’m knackered but I wouldn’t change a thing. My bridal parties are truely some of the loveliest people you could hope to meet and am thankful every day that I’m lucky enough to work in the wedding industry. It’s the most fulfilling and rewarding job. Wedding season is in full swing and I’m loving every moment of it (even the 5am wake up calls lol)

Wedding Suppliers get almost 50% of their enquiries in Jan & Feb
P***c holidays, summertime & weekends are the most sought after dates and can fill up quickly. Often we get multiple enquiries for the same day.

January can be a financially taxing month, trust me we feel it too (taxes ugh)
BUT
if you’ve made an enquiry and your fav vendor is available, I cannot stress the importance of booking as soon as possible. Historically I spend my Feb replying to brides who enquired in Jan but waited weeks to book and their date fills in the meantime. It’s messy and heartbreaking but I personally don’t have the time to cross check dates against enquiries and follow up with everyone. It’s just too fast paced.

So brides, book in the moment
or
if your not financially in a place to pay retainers to reserve your date just yet, hold off enquiring until you are.
