It’s really made me want to share more of my mixed media journey, especially my winning mixed media piece for Pro Beauty.

I created a full Christmas market that actually lit up and even smelled like a real Christmas market! I knew that boxed piece was something really different and unseen before, and I’ll honestly always be proud of it ❤️

Some of the other pieces are from lockdown days, some were created just for fun, and there’s also my handbag and shoe workshop that I designed for the educators summit with Glitterbels.

It’s only when I start looking back through my work that I realise just how far I’ve actually come. I think I might share some of my hand painting next 🎨

One thing I will always say is this. Educating yourself matters so much in this industry. Not just for qualifications, but for growth, confidence, creativity, and pushing yourself beyond what you thought you were capable of. Every course, every bit of practice, every mistake, and every hour spent learning builds you into a stronger artist.

Wherever you are in your journey, keep training, keep upskilling, and never ever think you can’t do it, because you absolutely can ❤️

After a busy pedicure training day with my students yesterday, today was Builder in a Bottle day 2… yes, day 2! ♥️

My BIAB training is designed with day 2 taking place 3 weeks after day 1, so students can come back with real growth and wear. This means you learn not just how to apply product beautifully, but how to maintain it properly too.

That second session is where the real understanding happens:
• how to carry out a safe, structured infill
• how to assess growth, balance and structure
• how to troubleshoot lifting
• how to adapt your application for different nail types
• how to soak off product safely and quickly

Learning how to apply a product is only one part of becoming a confident nail tech. Knowing how to maintain your work and protect the natural nail is what really builds long term results.
