Step 2: Looking beneath the surface.

If you watched Part 1, you'll remember that Jane's journey began with restoring her skin quality using Profhilo. But healthy, glowing skin is only one piece of the puzzle.

The face doesn't age from the outside in, it ages from the inside out.

Over time, everyday factors like ageing, hormones, stress, lifestyle, nutrition and genetics all influence the way our face changes. Our bones are constantly being broken down and rebuilt, but as we get older, that rebuilding process naturally slows. The result? The underlying framework of the face gradually changes, facial fat pads lose support, and the features we once associated with a youthful face begin to soften.

That was exactly what we saw with Jane.

There was a loss of support through the temples and cheeks, along with changes around the eye area that contributed to a more tired appearance.

So rather than treating the eyes themselves, we started higher.

By carefully restoring support through the temple and cheek area, we worked with the face's natural anatomy. Because these structures are connected through the SMAS, restoring support in the temples can create a subtle lifting effect through the upper and mid-face, helping the eyes appear more open and refreshed without changing Jane's natural features.

This is why treatment planning matters.

Update! 24 hours after my first BabyGLOW treatment.

In the first video, I spoke about the tightening sensation and how fresh my skin felt immediately after treatment. In this video, what I'm noticing most is the glow.

The luminosity is incredible!
It's one of those things that's difficult to capture properly on camera, but as I move around, I can see the way the light catches my skin. My cheeks look brighter, my skin looks healthier, and there's a definite radiance.

More than anything, my skin just feels good.
It feels soft, hydrated, refreshed, and happy.

What's making me even more excited is that this is after just one treatment.

After seeing so many of our babyGLOW patients loving their results, I decided it was finally my turn!

In this video, I'm taking you through the whole process—from cleansing my skin and marking out the treatment points to the post-treatment massage that helps distribute the product evenly.

So how does it feel?
It's difficult to explain because it's not painful and it's not uncomfortable. It's more of a tightening sensation. Almost immediately, I felt like my cheeks and eye area were more lifted, and my jawline looked a little more sculpted. My skin felt hydrated. I started seeing the luminosity and glow.

This footage was taken within an hour after treatment, so these are very much first impressions.

And yes, one cheek is a little redder than the other. Some areas are surprisingly difficult to reach when you're treating yourself, so I recruited Ginny for a little assistance.😂

In the next video, I'll show you what my skin looked like the following day and share a few more thoughts after I'd had a little time to properly look at the results.
