How welcome is this sunshine?! ☀️🙌 As gardeners we can’t tell you how much difference it makes to have some beautiful weather for a change (having spent most of January questioning why we do this job! 🤣)
Today we have been renovating a willow tunnel and it was a joy to be outside. Then we got home and saw this Orange & Bergamot soap on the curing rack and it just made us smile - something about the sunny yellow just makes everything seem so much cheerier 💛

We have some super cute mini nail brushes in our sale - perfect for children or taking away on holiday. There is nothing wrong with these at all, we are just trying to free up some storage space so they are now only £3!

We still have some of our mini bars in the sale with 50% off - nothing wrong with them they are just ex-shop stock. They come without the gift box that the full price option comes with but they are all still individually wrapped in colourful tissue paper and string - just like little presents! 🎁

In the run up to our sale we decided to discontinue a couple of our wash cloth colours. This means that all remaining Bilberry (dark purple) and Rust (burnt orange) cloths are in the sale with 1/3 off. Absolutely nothing wrong with them, it is purely to make room for new colours 🌈

These are only £3 in the sale because they are ex-shop display stock and the tissue paper is faded, absolutely nothing wrong with the soap itself.
Secondly we have a couple of Bomblet boxes:

Both are ex-shop display and have a rip in the cardboard egg box, one of them is missing a bomblet. This means that they are only £4.50 and £6 respectively.
Once again we will have a few of our lovely wash cloths in the sale, so we thought it would be a good idea to show you what makes them ‘seconds’ . . .
🧶 Sometimes the yarn has a fault - the example in the video has one section that is not the same thickness as the rest
🧶 Sometimes the yarn gets caught on things and pulled, leaving a few stray threads loose
🧶 Sometimes it is just because of a knot in the yarn
They all still remain perfectly functional, the faults are purely aesthetic. Each cloth is hand knitted (by wonderful Aunty Pat ❤️🙌) in 100% cotton yarn and washable at 30 degrees.

For those of you who are very organised (or Christmas all year round kind of people! 🙌) we will have some of our festive collection in our sale at the weekend.
Some are more Christmassy that others (we’re looking at you Christmas Spice 😂) but there is no reason even the most Scrooge like of people can’t get on board with Gingerbread all year round, especially not when it’s 50% off . . .
To celebrate some of the other brilliant makers who are taking part in at the beginning of March we’ve put together this reel of purchases we made last time round ❤️
Shopping from other small businesses is one of our favourite things to do, and if we can get some beautiful items at a discount even better! 🥳
Once upon a summer we had a coconut oil flood in our ingredient cupboard . . . It was not helped by the fact that the offending coconut oil was shipped in a cardboard box, so ever since then we try our best to order it when the weather is nice and cold!
We now also utilise the big plastic tubs from past cocoa butter orders to ensure even when the weather warms up there is still no escape 😂
This means that we have to melt the coconut oil down before pouring it into the empty tubs for safekeeping. Even though it’s just a pan of oil melting don’t you just think there is something so pleasing about a timelapse?!
