Skin Tag, from concern to confidence ✨

Every skin journey starts with a concern. My goal is to help you feel informed, reassured and confident from your very first consultation through to your final result.

This gentleman visited my clinic with a skin tag beneath the left eye that they had been wanting to remove.

This lesion was treated using Sterex Advanced Cosmetic Procedures ( diathermy) a precise technique performed with a fine sterile probe to safely remove a range of benign skin blemishes.

Every treatment begins with a thorough consultation. This allows me to assess the lesion, discuss your medical and skin history, determine whether treatment is appropriate or if referral is needed, and guide you through the expected healing process so you know exactly what to expect.

For me, blemish removal is about more than removing a lesion. It’s about providing safe, professional care and helping you feel more confident in your own skin.

It is with great sadness that we share the news that Doug Cartmell, founder of Sterex, has passed away following a period of ill health.

Doug founded Sterex over 40 years ago and dedicated much of his life to building the company into the respected organisation it is today. Through his vision, commitment, and passion, he earned the admiration and respect of customers, colleagues, and partners around the world.

Doug’s contribution to Sterex and the wider industry has been immense, and his legacy will continue to be felt throughout the company and among the many people whose lives and careers he influenced.

Everyone at Sterex is deeply saddened by this loss. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with the Cartmell family at this difficult time.

Doug will be greatly missed, but he will be remembered with gratitude, respect, and affection by all who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.

As a mark of our respect, Sterex will close at 1:00 pm on Monday to allow our team to attend Doug’s funeral and pay their respects. We appreciate your understanding during this time as we come together to honour Doug’s life and the remarkable legacy he leaves behind.

We’re holding a Content Day at our academy in Birmingham and we need models with specific skin blemishes to be treated by our Sterex trainer!

We’re looking for models with:
✅ Skin tags
✅ Large blood spots
✅ Common warts
✅ Seborrhoeic keratosis
✅ Xanthelasma
✅ Filiform warts
✅ Verrucae
✅ Cysts
✅ Moles (GP consent required)

What’s involved:
📍 Models must be able to travel to our academy in Birmingham
👩‍⚕️ Treatment carried out by our experienced Sterex trainer
📸 Before and after photos will be shared on our socials
🙈 No faces shown — close-up shots of the treated area only
✍️ Written consent will be required from all models
