Why Eyeliner & Makeup Aren’t Good for Lash Extensions

While lash extensions enhance your eyes beautifully, using certain makeup products—especially eyeliner—can actually shorten their lifespan and affect retention. Here’s why:

1. Oily & Waterproof Products Weaken the Adhesive

Many eyeliners, especially waterproof or gel formulas, contain oils and waxes that break down the lash glue. This leads to premature fallout and poor retention.

2. Difficult Removal Causes Lash Damage
