✨ Sometimes I forget how far I’ve actually come…

It’s easy to look around and feel like everyone else is moving faster, achieving more, or getting further ahead. There have been times when I’ve felt stuck, like I was standing still while everyone else was moving forward.

But when I stop and look back, I realise that couldn’t be further from the truth.

Many moons ago, I started college studying Beauty and Hairdressing. Just one week before I was due to qualify in hair, I found out I was pregnant and left the course. At the time, it felt unfair. It felt like my plans had changed overnight but I had another dream of starting a family of my own, that’s my favourite dream 🩵 💙

Over the last 6 years, I’ve invested in myself again and again. I’ve gained qualifications in:

I’ve built my business whilst raising two boys as a single parent. I’ve worked through setbacks, doubts, exhaustion and challenges that many people never see and still do.

But I don’t see myself as a victim.

I’m resilient.
I’m determined.
And I refuse to let my circumstances define my future.

My journey isn’t over. In many ways, it’s only just beginning.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this:

👉 Never compare your chapter 3 to someone else’s chapter 20.
👉 You are exactly where you’re supposed to be right now.
👉 But nobody is going to change your life for you.

Your dreams require action.

And your future requires you to keep going, even when it’s hard.

I’m not exactly where I want to be yet…

🚨 Could you recognise a vascular occlusion? 🚨

A vascular occlusion is a rare but serious complication that can occur following dermal fillers and, although much less commonly, certain skin booster treatments if product enters or compresses a blood vessel.

⚠️ Know the early warning signs:
• Severe or worsening pain
• Skin becoming pale, white or blotchy
• A mottled (livedo) pattern
• Cool skin temperature
• Delayed capillary refill
• Grey, blue or purple discolouration
