Skin boosters aren’t just for your face.

Your neck, décolleté, chest, arms and even other areas of the body can benefit from skin biorevitalisation, too. With an increase in GLP - 1 use, these boosters can really help with skin laxity left behind.

When treating the body, Jalupro HMW is my go-to skin booster from the Jalupro range. It’s designed to improve skin quality by supporting hydration, collagen production and overall skin health.

A bit like SPF, we often focus all our attention on our face and forget everything below the jawline. But as we age, the neck, chest and hands are often among the first areas to show skin laxity, thinning and other visible signs of ageing.

That’s why I always encourage my patients to think beyond the face. Looking after these areas early helps maintain smoother and healthier-looking skin. Take your SPF to the chest, and your skin boosters too.

Not all skin boosters work in the same way, and that's exactly what makes Sunekos so unique. ✨

Sunekos combines hyaluronic acid with a patented blend of amino acids to support collagen and elastin production, helping to improve skin elasticity, hydration and overall skin quality from within.

It's a treatment I particularly love for patients noticing fine lines, loss of elasticity or skin that simply feels more tired than it used to. With minimal downtime, it's also an excellent option before a special occasion, whether you're preparing for a wedding or simply want your skin looking its best.

The goal isn't to change your face, it's to help your skin look healthier, fresher and more like you. 🤍

A few things we’ve been trying to figure out lately… 😂

From football updates to skincare questions and decoding Gen Z language, we’re keeping up as best we can.

When skin boosters first became popular, many were primarily based on hyaluronic acid (HA), with the goal of improving skin hydration and overall skin quality.

Hyaluronic acid acts like a sponge, attracting and retaining water within the skin. Better hydration helps the skin appear smoother, plumper and more radiant. The problem? Results were short lived.

As aesthetic medicine has evolved, many newer formulations of skin boosters now combine hyaluronic acid with amino acids. Hyaluronic acid creates a well-hydrated environment for healthy skin, while amino acids provide the building blocks your fibroblasts use to produce collagen and elastin. This combo work synergistically together to support skin hydration, firmer structure and long-term skin quality, with results that really last.

One of my favourite skin boosters to offer in clinic is

This Swiss-formulated treatment contains hyaluronic acid to deeply hydrate the skin with amino acids that support your body’s natural collagen production.

It’s an amazing treatment if you’re looking to:
✨ Deeply hydrate the skin
✨ Improve skin quality and texture
✨ Brighten dull skin and restore a healthy glow
✨ Improve skin tone and elasticity
✨ Support firmer, healthier-looking skin

One of the best things about Jalupro is the minimal downtime because of its controlled protocol that minimises injection points, making the treatment as comfortable and efficient.

Let me know in the comments if you have any questions about Jalupro.

One of the most common problems I see in clinic is a damaged skin barrier. With so many ads and influencers your algorithm might be confusing you and it can be hard to navigate.

Healthy skin is built on understanding what your skin needs, not following every trend, influencer or adding more and more products to your routine. Sometimes, doing less, but doing it consistently, is what makes the biggest difference.

Protecting your skin barrier, staying consistent, and taking a personalised approach will always give you better long-term results than chasing quick fixes.

Remember, great skin isn't about perfection, it's about making informed decisions and giving your skin the care it deserves. 🤍

Hyperpigmentation often is an ongoing journey to treat. It’s never a one-and-done treatment. There are different types and causes for hyperpigmentation, so a thorough consultation helps guide the best treatment plan for you.

It sits deep within the skin. It didn’t appear overnight, so it can’t disappear overnight either. When treating hyperpigmentation, think of it as a two-part approach.

✨ In-clinic treatments like chemical peels or microneedling help target the outer layers of the skin by exfoliating away pigmented skin cells and encouraging healthy skin renewal.

✨ Your at-home skincare routine works on the deeper layers and is just as important. This includes wearing SPF every single day to prevent further pigmentation, along with using active ingredients such as vitamin C, retinoids, azelaic acid, tranexamic acid or niacinamide, depending on your skin.

Even with chemical peels and microneedling, you’ll usually need a course of treatments, starting from around 3 sessions. Most importantly, your homecare routine needs to be consistent and diligent over time to achieve the best outcome.

Think of it as a continuous, two-part approach. Your in-clinic treatments and your homecare routine work in synergy to deliver the best results.

So no, your hyperpigmentation won’t disappear after just one treatment session. Consistency is what creates lasting, healthy results.

One of my favourite things about aesthetics right now is seeing the shift towards skin quality over changing the face 🤍

Sunekos and amino acid skin boosters are all about helping your skin look healthier, brighter and more refreshed, enhancing what you already have rather than changing your natural features.

With minimal downtime and a focus on improving the quality of the skin itself, it’s the perfect option for anyone wanting that fresh, well-rested glow ✨

The best results are the ones that simply make you look like the best version of yourself.

Aesthetic treatments and great results aren't just about what happens in the clinic. They're about taking the right approach from the very beginning and being consistent.

The best results don't come from chasing quick fixes. They come from understanding your skin, following a personalised treatment plan, and giving your skin the time it needs to respond. Skin concerns have often developed over months or even years. One chemical peel won’t fix all your problems.

Whether it's preparing your skin before a treatment, staying consistent with your home care, or trusting the process, every step plays a part in achieving healthy, natural-looking results.

Your skin deserves patience, not perfection. 🤍
