I am totally behind the Babtac campaign to Make Beauty Safe 💕 and I am asking for your support by signing their petition 🙏🏼

The campaign is calling for the Beauty Industry to become a regulated industry 👏🏼

I personally feel that having a regulated industry is the only way we can enhance the industry, allow it to flourish and make is safe for consumers and clients.

There are far too many 1 day course running that give people “qualifications” in treatments that usually require months of training. 😡 These course also lack aftercare for those who invested and trained meaning they have no where to turn to for further support or guidance once their one day training is over!

Also, anyone can set up a beauty business and claim they are a nail tech, beauty therapist, make up artist etc yet they don’t have any education in the anantomy and physiology of the human body! How can anyone carry out treatments safely with no basic understand of how a treatment could cause harm or injury to someone!?

I have been to some of the most horrendous salons 🤢 and I have clients who have been left physically scarred by poor technique and hygiene 😢

Covid has also highlighted how our government(s) lack understanding about how the industry operates, yet it contributes almost £28 billion a year to the economy 🤯
