TROP FEST IS HERE!!!!! Switching off for the weekend and heading off to spend the next 3 days with my amazing Tropic family! 🥂✨

I’m so ready for a weekend of sunshine, celebrations, lots of laughs, dancing, making memories and, knowing Tropic, being completely spoiled! These weekends always fill my cup and remind me just how lucky I am to be part of such an incredible community.

🚨 PMU Beginner Mistakes Nobody Talks About 🚨

✨ Don’t try to learn everything at once. Brows lips and eyeliner are 3 completely different techniques
Master one before moving on to the next, Strong foundations create confident artists.

✨ Don’t compare your timings to other artists.
When I started, a set of brows could take me 4 hours. Now it takes me around half that time. Some artists work faster, some slower. Speed comes naturally with experience.

✨ Leave enough time between clients.
Rushing creates mistakes. Give yourself space to focus, learn and perfect your craft.

✨ Mapping is EVERYTHING.
If your pre-draw isn’t right, your finished result won’t be either. Spend the time getting it perfect before you even pick up your machine.

✨ Practice more than you think you need to.
Every spare hour spent practising builds muscle memory, confidence and consistency.

✨ Invest in education, but implement what you’ve learned.
Too many artists jump from course to course without mastering the techniques they’ve already been taught.

✨ Don’t follow every trend.
You are the professional. Think about how that PMU will heal, age and look years from now—not just what’s popular today.

✨ Focus on healed results, not social media results.
Beautiful fresh results are great, but healed results are what build a long-term reputation.

✨ Confidence comes from competence.
The more you practise, the more confident you become. Confidence isn’t something you wait for—it’s something you earn.

✨ Remember that every artist you admire was once a beginner too.

Success in PMU isn’t about being the fastest, it’s not about knowing everything and it’s definitely not about following every trend.

It’s about consistency, patience, practice and never stopping learning. 🤍
