Hello lovelies, I'm Amy. I'm your local Nail Technician, Beauty Therapist and Make Up Artist.

I originally started in this industry as just a Nail Technician, which is very much still my biggest passion, especially ✨️Nail Art ✨️, however, I do very much adore everything else I have to offer.

My first professional name was "Nails And Makeup By Amy", but as I started to offer more services, I changed it to "Illustrious Beauty By Amy", two pages that I still have active, as some clients still contact me through them and I like to look back at my earlier work and remind myself of how far I have come.

I now work under the name "Salon Secret", which did start as a commercial premises business, but is now an at home salon. Moving from the premises to home felt like such a loss at first, for many reasons, but I love the space I have created at home (with the help of my amazing boyfriend Declan, who makes a cracking brew 👌🏻) and going off the feedback of regular and new clients, I'm proud to say clients do too.

I'm so grateful that in all of my trial and tribulations in this industry (I'm not alone there, it's a tough industry and we don't have a Human Resources 🤣) I have the amazing privilege of doing what I love and having a career, which my wonderful clients make possible.

I'm also a mummy, to a beautiful frogs, shrek, mermaids and basically anything green obsessed little lady, so I thank you all for understanding that I do have to micro manage my child's life whilst also working ❤️

Today's date, as I edit this, 23rd February 2025.
Okay, so I think it's time to update this story...

As you may have seen, Salon Secret has gone from an at home salon to a commercial premises salon ❤️

On the 27th September I got the keys to our new home 🙌🏻 after 5 months of working from home! I knuckled down, worked all the hours I could (thank you so much for keeping me a busy gal!) and chased the dream 🥰

With the help of my amazing boyfriend, family and friends (so grateful for all of you!) We spent 2 months renovating the space and creating the beautiful Chaos that is Salon Secret Fleetwood LTD, whilst I was still working from home. After long days and late nights, we finaly opened the doors of 173a Lord Street, on the 2nd December 2024, and it has been heaven since! 💖

Now we is a we, as I have a wonderful team that I hope to grow and keep chasing the goals, that most of the time I come up with in the middle of the night because that's how my brain works 🤣🙌🏻

So the rumours are true, Salon Secret and myself are no longer located at 110 Poulton Road. Why is not important, what is important is the future and ensuring that all of my clients have the best experience possible ✨️

I would like to personally thank each and everyone of you who has shown me so much love and support. I'm a big believer in everything happens for a reason, so here's to new beginnings.

All appointments will be at my home address, which will be provided upon booking....for now 😉
