Hi Everyone,

So as some of you know, my father-in-law recently passed from cancer following a rapid deterioration. This has obviously been a very difficult time for our family, especially as John was 2 months away from being a grandad.

However, some amazing people have been there to help and support us during this time. We want to give special thanks to those at Macmillan who assisted with home visits and overnight stays towards the end of his palliative care, as well as to the staff of the Marie Curie hospice for being there in his final 24 hours. They made everyone feel at ease and as comfortable as possible during such a horrible period.

To help show some support to these incredible workers myself, Matty & James are planning a 24 hour Cut-A-Thon at Made Barbers to raise some money for Macmillan and Marie Curie. Starting at midnight on Friday 8th September, we will be cutting hair at the shop (Made Barbers, 17 Station Road, NE3 1QD) all the way through until midnight on Saturday 9th. Everyone who comes in can choose what they want to pay for their haircut - whether it’s £5 or £50 - and all money raised will be donated to these fantastic charities. We will however be restricting it to standard cuts or beard trims so we can fit more people in!
