Wash, shave and wax 24 hours before I arrive

Aftercare 😍
Avoid make up, perfume, deodorant & lotions
Wear dark loose fitting clothing/ pjs
Avoid wearing bra or tight fitting clothing
Avoid contact with liquids , do not apply makeup or lotion during the development period
Wait the proper amount of time before showering depending on the solution chosen
Moisture the skin every day and avoid hair removal or exfoliation while the tan last

Can I get a spray tan during pregnancy?

Well here goes , Is morning sickness, nausea and exhaustion bringing you down?

Why not boost your mood, warm up your complexion and add a radiant glow to your skin with a fake tan?

Tanning during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy is completely safe because the active ingredient in tanning solution (DHA) is non-toxic. DHA is a colourless sugar that darkens the uppermost layer of the skin by interacting with the proteins and amino acids on the epidermis. It isn’t absorbed further into the skin so it won’t harm your baby.

Tanning lotions are ideal because you have full control the depth of your colour. However, a mobile or salon spray tan can feel easier, especially during the later stages of pregnancy when it becomes trickier to manoeuvre and apply the product to all areas of the body.

It is advised that you don’t use tanning products during the first trimester of your pregnancy reason being your hormone changes can make the skin more sensitive than usual. This common precaution is true for all sorts of other beauty products that are applied to the skin too and isn’t an unusual practice.

For extra protection opt for a quick patch test on an inconspicuous area of the body, such as behind the ear, to check for any sensitivities or allergies that have arisen due to a fluctuation of pregnancy hormones. If everything seems fine, go ahead and Book your tan. 😍🤱🤰

☀️ HOT WEATHER & SPRAY TAN REMINDERS ☀️

With the weather heating up, here are a few important spray tan tips to help you get the best results ✨

🤎 Please DO NOT shower just before your spray tan appointment.

🤎 Avoid wearing shorts or skirts straight after your tan — long, loose, baggy trousers are best to protect your fresh tan.

🤎 Your spray tan is NOT a sun protector, so please remember to wear sun cream.

🤎 After your spray tan, keep cool and avoid sitting in the sun while the tan is developing.

🤎 If you are sunburnt, unfortunately I will not be able to carry out your spray tan appointment.

🤎 Watch out for white lines or strap marks before your appointment, as these will still be noticeable after your spray tan.

💧 Most importantly, drink plenty of water! Keeping hydrated helps your skin and will help your tan look fabulous for even longer.
