Pure tone ❓

Do you see green?

No you don't, however I added a 6 inch of pure green mix tone. I still wanted some kind of richness however Asian hair does throw a lot of warmth off so adding green really does help.

Adding a green mix tone to hair colour on Asian hair is typically done to help counteract unwanted warm tones, such as brassiness or orange undertones, that can sometimes show up when lightening or colouring dark hair.

Green is the opposite of red on the colour wheel, so using a green mix tone can help neutralize or cancel out red or orange tones in the hair. This technique is often used in the process of colour correction or when trying to achieve a specific cool or ash tone in the hair.

It's important to note that using green mix tones in hair colour should be done carefully and by a professional colorist, as improper use can lead to undesired results. Professional colourists are trained to understand colour theory and how different tones interact with each other to achieve the desired hair colour result.

In hairdressing, colour conversion typically refers to the process of changing the colour of a client's hair from one shade to another. This can involve various techniques and methods depending on the desired result. Here are some common colour conversion techniques used in hairdressing:

1. **Bleaching**: Bleaching is often used to lighten the hair before applying a new colour. It is a chemical process that removes the natural pigment in the hair, allowing the new colour to show up more vibrantly.

2. **Toning**: Toning is used to neutralize unwanted tones in the hair after bleaching or colouring. For example, if the hair turns too yellow after bleaching, a purple toner can be applied to counteract the yellow tones and achieve a more neutral shade.

3. **Colour Correction**: Colour correction is a more complex process used to fix hair colour mistakes or achieve a specific desired colour. It may involve multiple steps, such as colour removal, colour blending, and toning, to achieve the desired result.

4. **Colour Remover**: Colour removers are products designed to remove artificial hair colour from the hair. They work by shrinking the colour molecules so they can be washed out of the hair. This can be useful when correcting a colour that has gone wrong or when transitioning to a lighter shade.

5. **Balayage/Ombre**: These techniques involve creating a gradual color transition from dark to light or from one color to another. They can be used to blend different colors or achieve a natural-looking, sun-kissed effect.

6. **Colour Melting**: Colour melting is a technique where multiple hair colours are blended seamlessly to create a soft, multidimensional look. It involves blending the colors together so there are no harsh lines or contrasts between them.

7. **Root Smudging**: Root smudging is a technique used to soften the line of demarcation between the roots and the rest of the hair color. It involves applying a slightly different shade to the roots to create a more natural-looking blend.

It's important to consult with a professional hairdresser or colourist when considering colour conversion, as they can assess your hair's current condition and recommend the best approach to achieve your desired look while minimizing damage.

With the right Base colour. you can still achieve Beautiful, dreamy Blondes without Bleach. However, Bleach is still fine to use when used correctly and safely....

Salon talk!

Hey,

Just some professional tips on service gaps! The more frequently you come for your hair refreshed or toned! Your blonde locks are always going to be tip top!

More than 4-6month gaps are gonna end up being a Blonde Package service.

This is due to the natural roots being bigger! ( ya roots are hugeee) meaning more natural colour left in-between (your not gonna look as light, as my regular Blondies)...

Or your not gonna feel as light as you was 7 month ago!
Why? Because now it needs so much more doing and this takes a lot more time and product..

Blonde Package - cost from Β£180 (length& thickness depending) Below πŸ‘‡ is what this includes ....

121 service
Full head teasy lights
Face framing
Tipped out ends
Freehand
Toning
Bonding system
Hydration treatment
Cut & style
Aftercare package

Yes it's going to be higher due to time and 121 service! But the end results will take you back 7 months and make you BLONDE-FRESH-LIGHT......

When should you refresh your blonde hair can vary depending on factors such as the specific shade of blonde you have, the health of your hair, and your personal preferences. Here are some general guidelines:

1. **Root regrowth**: If you have coloured blonde hair and your natural hair colour is significantly different from your blonde shade, you may need to touch up your roots every 4-6 weeks as the regrowth becomes noticeable.

2. **Brassiness**: Blonde hair is prone to becoming brassy over time due to factors like sun exposure, water quality, and product buildup. If you start to notice unwanted brassiness in your hair, you may want to refresh your colour sooner.

3. **Hair health**: Bleaching and tinting hair can be damaging, so it's important to consider the health of your hair before refreshing your blonde colour. If your hair is feeling dry, brittle, or damaged, it may be best to wait longer between colour treatments to allow your hair to recover.

4. **Tone adjustments**: If you are looking to change or adjust the tone of your blonde hair, you may need to refresh your colour more frequently to maintain your desired shade.

5. **Professional advice**: It's always a good idea to consult with a professional hairstylist for personalised advice on when to refresh your blonde hair. They can assess the condition of your hair and recommend a schedule that works best for you.

Ultimately, the decision of when to refresh your blonde hair is a personal one, based on your individual needs and preferences. Listening to your hair and working with a professional stylist can help you maintain healthy, beautiful blonde locks.

Maintaining your hair at home is essential to keep it healthy, strong, and looking its best. Here are some tips for maintaining your hair at home:

1. **Regular washing:** Wash your hair regularly with a mild shampoo and conditioner that is suitable for your hair type. How often you wash your hair depends on your hair type (dry, oily, normal) and lifestyle.

2. **Conditioning:** Use a conditioner after shampooing to help hydrate and nourish your hair. Focus the conditioner on the ends of your hair to prevent dryness and split ends.

3. **Avoid excessive heat:** Limit the use of heat styling tools such as flat irons, curling irons, and hair dryers as they can damage your hair. When using heat styling tools, always use a heat protectant spray to minimise damage.

4. **Trim regularly:** Regular trims every 6-8 weeks can help prevent split ends and keep your hair looking healthy and neat. Trimming also promotes hair growth and overall hair health.

5. **Protect from the sun:** UV rays can damage your hair, so protect it by wearing a hat or using hair products with UV protection when spending time outdoors.

6. **Use hair masks:** Treat your hair to a deep conditioning treatment or hair mask once a week to moisturise, repair, and strengthen your hair.

7. **Avoid over-processing:** Limit the use of chemical treatments such as hair colour, bleach, and relaxers, as they can damage your hair. If you colour your hair, consider spacing out your appointments to allow your hair to recover.

8. **Eat a healthy diet:** A balanced diet rich in vitamins and nutrients is essential for healthy hair. Include foods high in protein, iron, vitamins A, C, and E, and omega-3 fatty acids in your diet.

9. **Brush gently:** Use a wide-tooth comb or a brush designed for your hair type to detangle your hair gently, starting from the ends and working your way up to the roots.

10. **Stay hydrated:** Drink plenty of water to keep your body and hair hydrated from the inside out.

By following these tips and establishing a regular hair care routine, you can help maintain the health and beauty of your hair at home. If you have specific hair concerns, consider consulting a professional hairstylist for personalised advice.
