Behind the scenes of milia removal…
What is milia?
Milia are tiny white or cream-coloured bumps that form when dead skin cells and keratin become trapped under the skin. They’re very common and harmless, often appearing around the eyes, cheeks, forehead, and nose.
Unlike spots or acne, milia don’t have a pore opening, which means they usually won’t clear on their own by squeezing. Professional removal is the safest and most effective way to remove them while protecting the skin and minimising scarring.
