Here are the swatches from my live videos, so from top to bottom, we have baby powder, pink pastel, pom pom, blue pastel, lemon drizzle, pistachio...
Pistachio and plush cover ombrƩ on myself..

So the swatches aren’t the best because I was struggling to film and do them, so I tried my best, plus nerves too, I hate videos but I just wanted to try something new and also to keep you all interacting with what I’m continuing to do whilst not working!ā˜ŗļø

For those ladies struggling to get their salon straightness at home during lockdown, I did the thing I hate most (video myself) to help show you and give you some tips for blow drying your hair at home!

Firstly, remember that your hair will never look the same as when someone else does it when you do it yourself as other people can control the hair a lot easier than when you’re moving your arms and tools around your own body!

Always remember to put some kind of product on the hair before blow drying.

Section your hair into smaller pieces to get a better, more sleek, blow dry, then further split that section into two down the middle and pull each to either side of your head, so your arms aren’t strained behind the back of you.

Ensure to use a nozzle on your hairdryer to concentrate the air onto the hair and guide it with a brush so you sandwiched the hair between the two.

Pull the hair to stretch it out for extra lasting smoothness! I show two ways of doing this, either with the brush on top of the hair, carefully using your fingers as support to stretch the hair out and smoothing it with the dryer, or with your hair underneath the hair, slowly moving your brush and dryer in unison.

If you want a bit of volume at the roots, you can try flipping your hair upside down, this way as you dry the underneath upwards, it creates a bit of height to your look!

I’m by no means perfect at drying my own hair, but it has prevented so much damaging from continually using my straighteners on it as the straightness lasts me for days, also remember that practice makes perfect, so don’t give up first try!

Put an order in for some new colours of acrylic ready to get back into nails when all this is over! Some bright colours for happiness inspiration, and a blue in honour of those NHS workers that are working incredibly hard during this stressful period!

Swatches to follow when they arrive!ā˜ŗļø

Which is your favourite?šŸ¦„

Still want to try to share some content whilst in lockdown, so here is a before and after of my own brow tidy up today... how satisfying are these results🤩

I’m going to be doing some nail practice at some point so I will share some pictures when I do, and, not that I’m keen on doing them myself, but if people would be interested in watching a live video of me doing my own full face of makeup, let me know what look/s you would wantā˜ŗļø

With deepest sadness ....
The decision has been made to close the salon for the unforeseeable future.
The wellbeing of staff, clients and families are our top priority and we believe it is now time.
We are following the government guidelines as we’re unable to now adhere to the new social distance recommendations.
We will continue to keep a close eye on developments and assess the ongoing situation.
We are fully committed to re-opening as soon as it’s safe to do so.

Thank you to all our incredible clients who continue to support us.

We will return from this much stronger and ready to make all our amazing clients look and feel beautiful.

So good bye for now.
STAY SAFE
STAY HEALTHY
STAY POSITIVE
