As of Saturday 8th August wearing a face mask 😷 in the salon will be mandatory for all clients. Many of you know how I feel but these are the latest government guidelines that we have to enforce. Feel free to wear your favourite one but remember hair tint will stain. We look forward to seeing you all soon. Stay well💚

Completely unrelated to hairdressing but not the salon! As many of you know my furbaby ZacharyDog I thought I’d share that it is seven years this week that we brought him home. One sofa, two pairs of shoes, hundreds of squeaky toys 🧸 and £9000 in vets bills and I would not change a second ☺️. For me personally, life changing really. He was the final push to go vegetarian & then vegan🌱. If I wouldn’t eat a dog why would I eat anything else that’s fury or feathery or scaly for that matter. He 🐶 is currently leaner & fitter then before lockdown. Definitely one of the best walked Jack Russel in Bury as we’ve been out loads. That’s my silver lining of the past few month🙏🏻🐶😊

A repost from the NHBF. It’s the 19th of June today & still no official guidelines🤷🏼‍♂️. The salon is currently having a couple of alterations. Fingers crossed we’ve got it right 🤞🏻 and we can see you all very soon.

The NHBF has written to key government ministers across the nations of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland to stress the need for health & safety guidelines to be published as a matter of urgency.

To our fantastic clients.
We have cautiously started to take some appointments from the 4th July. Please be aware that these appointments come with a raft of speculative caveats. Including but not limited to: social distancing, PPE, no drinks, no blow-drying, appointments being cancelled/altered. We are making these appointments on assumption of what the new working practices will be. So some of them might not be applicable, we simple don’t know.
To give you all a little information there is a “Technical Working Group” created with representatives from all the governing bodies & trade organisations. This Working Group met the Business Secretary Alok Sharma on 22nd May but are still waiting for draft guidelines on what the new best practices will be.
Our assumptions of the guidelines come from other countries, eg. Germany 🇩🇪- no drinks +PPE; Spain 🇪🇸- no blow-drying; (some states within) The United States🇺🇸- PPE, no drinks, no blow-drying, one client at a time.
Once firm confirmation of the guidelines has come through some appointments might have to be tweaked so please bare with us and be understanding.

Hopefully we are getting somewhere & will have opening guidelines soon ✂️

It is with heaviest of hearts that we announce the salon will be closed with immediate effect.

Following the governments request about businesses the salon will be closed until further notice. The health of our clients, ourselves & families has to be the priority at this time. Following government guidelines is the correct thing to do help stem the spread of Covid-19.

We will be contacting our clients over the coming days with regards to their appointments.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our clients for their loyalty & continued support over the years & especially through these uncertain & unsettling times.

We are absolutely devastated & heartbroken to have to close in this way but are aware that it is the right thing to do to beat this virus. Together we will all get through this.
