I am a fully trained and qualified mobile Make- up Artist based in Bolton covering the surrounding areas. I have trained at the ‘Award Winning’ School of Make-up covering Fashion and Editorial make-up and Hair Styling. I am incredibly passionate about the art of makeup and witnessing first-hand the difference it makes to the way we view ourselves as women, and the way we look reflects how we feel.
My approach to makeup is personal to each client I work with; it's creative, unique and reflects my client’s preferences to makeup. I am trained to assess all skin types, including colouring, condition and sensitivity to be able to determine which colour best suits you. I will also assess a client’s bone structure to determine where and how to apply types and colours of make-up to achieve that desired look. Whether it's creating that flawless look for a special event, or going back to basics and teaching step- by- step for the most makeup-shy of women - the main, and most rewarding principle of my job, is to help women feel as good on the outside than they do within. As a make-up artist, I believe it is extremely important to approach every client individually, as we as people are different and we prefer different looks! My key principles, as a make-up artist, are to LISTEN, RESPECT and COMMUNICATE to achieve a client’s personal look- a sense of humour helps too! My aspiration for the future is to become a teacher of Make-up, as I currently work full-time as a qualified English teacher. However, in the near future, I do hope to teach this specialised area as a full-time job. What is more, I am open to any new training to help enhance and perfect my skills in make-up and hair
