Hair Salon
Hey everyone, just a reminder that new rules have come out regarding skin testing, and it is now a legal requirement to have a skin test done 48hrs prior to your first colour appointment upon our return.
Even if you had one before we still have to have another one. It may seem annoying but it is not as annoying and potential lethal as allergic reactions which is the last thing anyone needs right now added on top of this pandemic. Also please let me know the following when doing your skin test if you have had any on this list over lockdown:
Temporary henna tattoos,
Henna hair dye,
COVID 19,
Hair loss,
Scalp sensitivities,
Previous reactions to box colour done at home during this time.
Any temporary/semi-permanent/permanent colour you have put on your hair during this time.
These will give me all the information I need to go forward with your colour appointments.
Thank you and look forward to seeing you soon.
Ursula x
I don’t know about you but I’m so excited to have a potential start date!
However as it is only a potential date I will need to wait until the end of March to book clients in. I have a list of clients in chronological order from when I was set to work in January and so this order will be in place first before any new appointments are accepted. I will be in touch with all these clients first I hope you understand this is the fairest way to go about it all. A waiting list will be in place for new appointments.
I can’t wait to see you all

TRANSITIONING FROM BRUNETTE BALAYAGE TO BRUNETTE WITH BLONDE HIGHLIGHTS ✨
My lovely client wants to slowly move towards the blonder side of life and move away from a darker root. Going blonder is always a process when lifting through colour and more than one session is usually always needed. Charlotte has beautiful hair and keeping the integrity of everyones hair is always most important to me, so low and slow in the lightning process is a must in my opinion. The Technique used was babylights to create a softer more natural highlight and blend. Toned with

Going lighter...
My client wanted to brighten up her brunette balayage which was due to be freshened up. This time she wanted to try and achieve a blonder look. 4 hours later here she is looking brighter and beautiful! We will continue to build up her blonde over her next appointments so keep your eyes peeled for the next progress post!

Good luck to everyone back to working hair today! Looking forward to seeing all my clients this month and onwards 💓
The new government guidelines have now been released and I have listed these below along with some new changes for your future appointments. Please could you review this prior to coming to your appointment.
🛎 Please arrive promptly for your appointment time. A friendly welcome will still be waiting for you which will be under a visor and a mask 😷
🧴Hand sanitiser will be supplied to you when entering.
🧼 The salon will have proper sanitation & disinfection practises & procedures in between each client.
😷 Masks for clients are required at this time. If you need one, I can supply a disposable one for a charge of £1 each.
☕️ Unfortunately no refreshments or reading material will be supplied. You are welcome to bring your own drink but no food please.
🚽 As the salon is in my home and the children are not at school, the use of the toilet facilities will be unavailable.
💇♀️ Please attend your appointment alone, no children to be brought along.
💳 Bacs, PayPal & Cash payments are accepted.
🙏 Please rearrange your appointment if you are unwell or been in contact with anyone who has ANY symptoms related to COVID-19. On the day of your appointment, I will ask you to confirm this.

Update: following the announcement today by Boris Johnson I am pleased to be allowed to get all your hair looking fabulous again! 💇♀️
As soon as I know the exact guidelines later today or tomorrow and the exact PPE that will be required I will be in contact to book you all back in. If anyone hadn’t an appointment before lockdown and I do not contact this week please get in touch. To be fair to all my clients that had been booked in and cancelled during lockdown I will be offering them my first available appointments. I hope you can all understand that with having my three children all at home without school and childcare my days of working will be limited. I will be working only on Thursdays and Saturdays until September when school re-opens. Thank you for your continued support and I will update again what is required for myself, you and the salon in due course.
