It’s been 16 months since we last did this clients balayage 😱 the goal was always low maintenance and an easy grow out that worked with her natural “pre-lightened” (grey 😉) hairs that come through. Making the decision to quit years (and I mean YEARS) of the black box dye and take your hair back to it’s more natural roots can be quite the commitment and not for the faint of heart.

After a long chat and setting our expectations vs reality, my client understood that this would be a journey and that doing this in stages would be the best thing in order to keep her hair as healthy as possible. Also using amazing products in salon like Olaplex and introducing it into her home hair care routine would be a must through this process!! Thankfully she’s been happy to embrace every stage of colour on the way and has found the whole experience quite fun 😍

Today was our 3rd session over a 5 month period and I believe we may need at least 2 more sessions to really reach our ultimate goal but I’m so happy with todays results that I couldn’t wait to share!
