I just love this brow makeover I did. My beautiful client had a brow pull (where one side of her brow raises more than the other). When this happens, it's extremely hard to have symmetry as the muscles lay differently. So something only botox can really help fix

Sorry for the radio silence. I've been training up the newbie all week at work this week and crying my eyes out saying my goodbyes before leaving.

I had my minor day op today (pilar cyst removal on my scalp) so feeling a tad sensitive right now (headache, OUCH). And tomorrow is my big move to Poole permanently. I already have a fully booked schedule next weekend in the tattoo studio so looking forward to seeing you for your top ups and new procedures 😍

In the meantime, I thought I'd show you what healing can look like for your eyebrows, so as to not worry anyone if it happens to you because it will! And this is NORMAL.

This is 9 days after having my own brows microbladed with machine shading. I have entered my "ghosting" stage (where the pigment and colour appears lighter), and my flaking has started.

The important factor here is to NOT pick the scabbing/skin. This will pull pigment out which we do not want. Instead, I will leave this completely alone and continue with my aftercare ointment. Over the next few weeks, the colour will continue to fade, and then start coming back.

This is what EVERYONE will go through whilst healing so please rest assured it's normal. But thought it would also be great for reassurance for anyone who has been contemplating having SPMU but worried what it would look like. Now you know 😃

All jokes aside, please PLEASE do protect your brows from washing your hair for the first few days (ideally, 7-10 days) and even steamy showers. But I doubt anyone would be having a hot shower in this weather. Unless you're from HELL 🥵🥵🥵

Please remember, it's SO important to use your SPF after having your lipblush and brows done

Please ensure you do NOT use it until after day 14 of having them done though as you need to avoid trapping bacteria in the healing stage and avoid any irritation. However, SPF is vital.

Why??

UV rays break down the pigment in the skin, causing premature fading, blurring, or unwanted color shifts (e.g., brows turning an ashy tone or lips looking patchy). Daily SPF acts as a barrier to protect your investment.

So, remember, if you want your spmu treatments to last, use your SPF ☺️☺️
