Lash techs… full, bold lashes aren’t always what your client actually wants 👀

She came in wanting her lashes done… but she was hesitant.

For the past few months she’d been using clusters and getting frustrated — constantly reapplying them, spending time she didn’t have, and they just weren’t lasting.

But her biggest fear was that extensions would look too much on her face.

Her exact words were:“Just like my natural lashes… but darker and curlier.”

So that’s exactly what we created 🤍

A soft, lightweight set that enhances ..not overpowers.

Why is it always like this 😂😂😂

If you’re new here and not sure what lash sets are available or what would actually suit you…this is for you 🤍

Featuring Willow, of course 🐶

These are just some of the different styles you can choose from, and yes…
lash styling is completely custom to you.

No two sets should ever look the same.

The right set depends on:
– your eye shape
– your natural lashes
– and the look you want to achieve

That’s why choosing properly makes such a difference to the final result.

✨ These are some of the sets I offer

Not all “wispy” sets are the same… and that’s exactly where things start to go wrong.

In this industry, miscommunication happens so easily … not because you’re not skilled, but because what YOU see and what your client sees can be completely different.

A client saying “I want wispy” isn’t a clear brief.

It’s an interpretation.

if you don’t take control of that in the consultation, you’re leaving the final result open to disappointment.

This is why your consultation matters more than you think:

Don’t rush it.

Don’t assume.

Don’t be afraid to go into detail.

Ask questions.

Break it down.

Show examples.

Explain what you consider wispy vs what they might mean.

Because when you get this part right:

–Your clients leave happy
– They trust you more
– They rebook without hesitation

And most importantly… they know exactly what to expect from you.

Retention isn’t just about your lash work.

It’s about clarity, communication, and transparency.

That’s the bare minimum clients expect …and the thing that will separate you from every other lash tech.

Save this if you want better clients, better retention, and less awkward “this isn’t what I asked for” moments.

If you feel like you’re not fast enough as a lash tech… read this.

Speed is NOT what makes a good lash tech.

The best lash techs are the cleanest.

Clean isolation.

Clean placement.

Clean direction.

So if you feel slow right now, it doesn’t mean you’re doing something wrong.

Because here’s the truth:
Speed comes AFTER precision.

If your sets are sticking, messy, or not lasting …rushing will only hold you back even more.

Slowing down and getting it right is what actually makes you faster long term.

🎯 Tip to slow down and build speed:

Focus on your foundation set first.

• Instead of rushing the whole lash set, pick 1–2 lashes per eye and make them perfectly isolated and placed.

• Once you nail these first lashes consistently, the rest of the set will naturally go faster … because your hands and eyes are already in sync.

You’re not behind.

You’re building the foundation.

came for lashes, left with a new job 😂

Joey was on assistant duties the whole appointment with me and his mum passing tools, keeping me in check… might have to hire him full time🤔😝

this is why I love my job though
it’s never just lashes, it’s the little moments like this 🤍

everyone’s always welcome here 🙏

lashes done, memories made mumma and son time ❤️

If you’re struggling with fullness, go back to mapping.

Fullness isn’t about adding more lashes — it comes from how evenly you place them, and mapping is what keeps that consistent from start to finish.

Think of it like this… if you were trying to get somewhere new, you wouldn’t just walk and hope for the best — you’d follow a map.

It’s the same with lashes.

When you have a map in place, you’re not second guessing yourself or feeling overwhelmed halfway through the set. You have something to follow, so your focus stays on keeping even coverage… and that’s what makes your sets look fuller.

Bring it back to basics 🤍

It’s not that you don’t understand fullness…

And it’s not about adding more lashes… it’s about how you place them.

I know how confusing it can feel when you’re trying, adjusting, doing everything you’ve been told… and your sets still don’t look how you want them to.

You’re not behind. You’re not doing it wrong.

You’ve just been missing the right guidance 🤍

Lashes don’t always look full because of the products being used.

Most of the time, it comes down to how the lashes are placed.

When lashes are placed in a consistent direction and with intention, the set naturally looks more even, more structured, and fuller — without needing to add more volume.

Fullness comes from:
• Clean isolation
• Consistent direction
• Controlled placement
• A well set-up working environment

When all of these are in place, the set looks more uniform, and the retention is usually better too.

Your environment also plays a big part.
When your setup is organised and comfortable, it’s easier to stay consistent with your work.

Fullness isn’t just about adding more…
it’s about how you apply it.
