Did you know you can massage scar tissue?

Regularly massaging scar tissue can help to relieve restriction and tethering to muscle or bone in the area surrounding the scar, breakdown build up of scar tissue, and reduce discomfort or itching in the site of the scar.

This client of mine had a degloving accident and regular massage has helped with all of the above, plus improved blood flow to the area, reduced swelling and enhanced movement.
