IMPORTANT INFORMATION: We have had an upgrade to our phone lines, however it appears that this now means our phone diverts to voicemail on a minimal number of rings meaning we often cannot answer it in time. It also diverts to voicemail if we are on the phone. We do not get instant advice telling us this and we are unable to access voicemails. Please can we ask that you DO NOT leave us voicemails at the moment until we have remedied this problem, we will update as soon as this has been solved.

As we had hoped, we are so excited to reopen the doors at The Lounge from Monday 12th April.

Phone lines will open for bookings at 12:00 noon tomorrow, Tuesday 6th, again on Wednesday 7th 10:30 - 12:00, Thursday 8th April 14:00-17:00 and Friday 9th April 10:00-12:00.

If your call goes straight to answer machine, please do not leave a message as this may delay your booking, but please try to call again. Those who do leave messages will be contacted once phone lines are closed, or first thing the next working day.

Please refer to our previous post with guidance about visits and information regarding skin patch testing for all colour treatments. This requirement will continue for each colour service, until we are advised otherwise.

For our clients who travel to see us, we will be discussing options about skin patch tests this week, and will update as and when we have more news.

Face coverings must be worn in the salon.

Salon Reopening Update

Whilst we are excited to open our doors to you again as soon as possible, we are taking some precautions until the next government announcement, scheduled for 5th April. We hope this will confirm what we expect and that we shall reopen the salon on Monday 12th April. Bearing this in mind, and armed with the information we currently have and pending any updates from our trade association (the NHF) we have added detail to our page. This will advise you of our plans as they stand with regards to a hone lines and appointments.

We will update on April 6th if not beforehand, so please watch our social media accounts.

Please be aware that guidance and rules around other services provided by our amazing colleagues Danielle, Julia and Christine may differ and they will update you with these as they become available.

✂️❤️Salon Reopening Update❤️✂️

Whilst we are excited to open our doors to you again as soon as possible, we are taking some precautions until the next government announcement, scheduled for 5th April. We hope this will confirm what we expect and that we shall reopen the salon on Monday 12th April. Bearing this in mind, and armed with the information we currently have and pending any updates from our trade association (the NHF) who are working on our behalf to deliver clear guidance, we would like to advise of the following:
1. We will open the salon phone lines at noon (12 midday) on Tuesday 6th April;
2. It will be a legal requirement that all those booking an appointment for hair colour have a patch test 48 hours prior to their scheduled appointment time;
3. Previous Covid infection, known or unknown, and the Covid vaccines can potentially affect the system and cause anaphylactic reactions. We take the health and care of our clients very seriously and will not be allowing colour products to be applied without a patch test being undertaken;
4. Patch testing will take place Monday 12th & Tuesday 13th April for those wishing to book colour slots from Wednesday 14th April onwards. The patch testing service and requirement will continue until we are advised otherwise, and will be needed for each hair colour appointment;
5. Advice those who have had confirmed Covid infection is being updated and we will update of our management process around this as soon as possible;
6. We would advise no one considers a hair colour within 2 weeks of having either 1st or 2nd dose of the Covid vaccine;
7. We will not be offering a perming service until guidance has been publish with regard to any associated risk;
8. Cutting services will commence on Tuesday 13th April;
9. We will open our usual 5 day week with the exception of week beginning Monday 12th April to allow us to see as many patch tests as possible;
10. If you have left a voicemail on the salon line, please do not call again, we will get back to you as soon as possible;l. If the phone line is engaged when you call please be patient and call again later;
11. Any appointments already scheduled from Tuesday 13th April onwards will be honoured unless this is a a colour service, which will then be slightly delayed and will require the patch test as advised above.

Good morning!! I know you are all keen to get booked in for appointments in April, and we’re all looking forward to welcoming you back!
We are holding a staff meeting early next week to plan our reopening based upon the most current government guidance. We can then update you and let you know when we will be manning the phones. Keep an eye on on Facebook and Instagram.

So excited to be opening again! We will reopen on Wednesday 2nd December go honouring appointments already scheduled. We will be in the salon Tuesday 24th, Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th from 10-12 to take calls to book appointments and will be offering extended hours in the firt week. Call us on 01202 546466
