Not only does is make it cheaper (see below) but talking about problems that you find difficult to share with loved ones can be a real benefit too. What exactly is auricular acupuncture?
The ear is an incredible microsystem which has connections throughout the nervous system so, using Auricular acupuncture, we are able to help issues throughout the whole body. In an acupuncture session fine, sterile needles are inserted into specific points in the outer ear. The needles are inserted to a very shallow depth and remain in the ear for 30-40 minutes. Most people find this a very relaxing and often a completely painless experience.

The treatment is gentle and has a balancing effect on the body, requires no special equipment such as couches and can be administered easily whilst a patient is seated and fully clothed, which makes it particularly suited to having treatment at home. Ear acupuncture has no negative side effects and is suitable for treating groups as well as individuals.
