With the sunshine finally here, please take extra care of freshly waxed skin 💛

For 24–48 hours after your appointment:
✨ Avoid direct sun exposure
✨ No sunbeds or tanning
✨ Avoid hot baths, saunas & steam rooms
✨ Wear loose, breathable clothing
✨ Try to avoid excessive sweating/exercise
✨ Keep skin cool, clean & hydrated

Freshly waxed skin is more sensitive in warm weather and can irritate more easily.
If your waxed area is exposed to the sun (legs, arms, face etc), apply SPF 30+ once the skin has settled ☀️

A little redness after waxing is completely normal 🤍

Hey, I thought I’d reintroduce myself 😊

I’m Jenna, I’ve been a therapist since I was 18 (40 next year… how did that even happen?!) I’m not originally from Brackley, so I’m still getting to know the local area and all the lovely people here.

I have a little boy who started school last year, and a very supportive husband who kindly helped me set up my home studio—so I now have a lovely work-from-home lifestyle. I also welcome mums who may need to bring their little ones along, although I do recommend booking treatments around nap time… but let’s be honest, when does that ever go to plan? 😅
I’ve spent many years running spas and salons and also hold an assessor qualification in the beauty industry.

I’m very much about keeping things natural—I rarely wear makeup and I’m far too much of a scaredy-cat to go anywhere near needles, so I’ll be ageing gracefully!
Speaking of cats… I have a big fluffy one called Oliver. He’s a total tart and behaves more like a dog most days—but don’t worry if you’re not a cat lover, he’s usually tucked away on a bed, living his best life 🐾

Oh—and I picked up a new cushion for the studio today… accessories- another guilty pleasure of mine, alongside chocolate 😳

You’ve all been keeping me super busy!

As some of you may know, we moved into our property a year ago and are now working on the outdoor area. You may have noticed there’s a fair bit of fencing running down the garden, which—much to my delight—is due to be painted over the next week or so.

It’s a bit tricky to avoid while clients are coming and going, so I do have to make the most of any dry days when we get them!

Just a little heads-up in case there’s any wet paint. I will of course remind you when I collect you from the side door.
