Winter weddings are always so beautiful at and the perfect place for the whole family to stay. Saturday's wedding I assisted and I was in my happy place creating gorgeous updos on these lovely young bridesmaids. Sophia and Gracie were gorgeous girls and Sophia's hair was possibly the most I've ever worked with! 💕
Hello and happy 2026! Some of you may already know that about two years ago I started to move away from taking my own weddings to move into more of an assistant role. This was for many reasons but the main one was to allow me more time with my family. I'm so incredibly grateful to the talented, kind and supportive artists who've taken me under their wing and nurtured my confidence. This year I feel my skills have grown so much. this is down to you and it's because of your support that I've been given the gift of time with the people I cherish most.
I'm so happy and grateful that going into 2026 I'm a full time assistant.

Pretty, romantic updo requested by this bridesmaid a few weeks back at this was specially asked to be a loose undone look, emphasis on loose due to the bridesmaid suffering with headaches. You all remember the sensation when you've been wearing your hair in a tight ponytail all day? It looked so pretty 🥰

It was Alana's big day yesterday at in Bethnal Green! I've known the family and worked at many of their weddings over the past ten years so it was so special to be asked to help Alana with her wedding hair and makeup! She looked absolutely amazing.

My Story
I'm Victoria and I’m a makeup artist based in Braintree in Essex. I cover a large area of Essex and some of Hertfordshire and Suffolk and I'm more than happy to travel. I trained in Makeup and Beauty back in 1998 at Cambridge and have been working in the Beauty industry ever since then. Wedding Makeup is my passion! I love nothing more than creating beautiful, flawless makeup for your special day that you won't need to retouch apart from lipstick. I know how makeup needs to look up close and also in photographs, and I have an excellent knowledge of makeup for HD film and photography. I also know that you'll want to look and feel like yourself, which is why I use a variety of brands to ensure a perfect finish. These include Nars, Bobbi Brown, Charlotte Tillbury, Urban Decay and Bare Minerals.
I'm also a trained Airbase High Definition Makeup Artist, which means I can also provide this beautiful airbrushing service to ensure a perfect finish. Please see my Airbase page here.I have been in love with Makeup for as long as I can remember, since being a little girl watching my Mum apply it. This inspired my career choice and I also trained as a Beauty Therapist, so I also have an excellent background in skincare and can provide advice on how to make your skin look its best for your big day. I have worked and trained with brands such as Clarins, Guinot, Dermalogica and Decleor, so my knowledge is vast and I can advise you how to get your skin in tip top condition.
As well as being a Makeup Artist, I'm also a mummy to two little girls Eva and Grace, my little princesses and Artists in training. See their gorgeous little faces below!
After all these years there is nothing I more get excited about than a wedding! It truly is my passion and I consider it a privilege to be part of the ‘team’ on your special day.
