Million Dollar Medi+ Hyper Erase

Hyper Erase is the latest edition to the Million Dollar Medi+ range which is specifically designed to target the appearance of uneven skin tone.

Often, when our skin is exposed to stress, triggered by inflammatory factors such as UVA and B radiation, infection such as acne or rosacea we produce a high amount of melanin which results in areas of darker and uneven skin tones which have a detrimental effect on our appearance.

These changes in skin tone can last for years unless they are treated effectively. Whilst prevention is better than a cure once skin tone has been altered it is difficult to reverse.

HyperErase is an effective treatment at home for a more even skin tone and should be used daily at night for 6-12 weeks.

Medi+ Shield 50+ must be worn daily whilst undergoing this treatment due to the fact your skins melanin will be inhibited and you will risk causing more damage.

Dry skin V Dehydrated skin

One is a skin type (dry) whilst the other is a skin condition (dehydrated)

Dehydrated skin is a skin condition that occurs when there's a lack of water within the skin. All Skin
types can be prone to it.
People with combination or oily/congested skin can still experience dehydration.

Typical dehydrated skin characteristics to look out for: Dull skin
• Loss of elasticity . Surface wrinklesDark under eyes/ tired looking eyes
Skin irritation/ itching

You can also conduct a quick pinch test. Whilst this test isn't always conclusive, it's a good indication to spot dehydration.

We are looking for the skin to snap back quite quickly and with ease. If not, this is potentially an indication of skin dehydration. You can conduct
this test on the back of the hand or upper part of your cheek.

Dry skin is a skin type unlike dehydrated skin and water isn't the problem. Dry skin is where the skin lacks lipids and oils and appears dry and flaky in its overall appearance.
Signs of dry skin: Flaky/scaly appearance Redness Irritation Increased suffering of eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis

Dry skin and Dehydrated skin need to be treated differently. To look and feel it's best, you will need to both moisturise and hydrate your skin.
