💚 Why Losing Visceral Fat & Body Fat Matters 💚

One of the things we love to celebrate at Pyle Nutrition Club is when our members improve their health from the inside out.

Visceral fat is the fat that sits around your organs. Too much of it can increase the risk of health problems such as heart disease, diabetes, and high blood pressure. Losing visceral fat means improving your health on the inside, even if you can’t always see it. Paula losing 4 litres of visceral fat is an incredible achievement and a huge step towards a healthier future.

Body fat loss is also about much more than the scales. Reducing body fat can improve energy levels, confidence, mobility, and overall wellbeing. Paula’s 7.5% body fat loss shows the amazing progress she has made whilst still enjoying holidays, family celebrations, nights out, and all the things that make life special.

You’ll notice that Paula isn’t featured in our social media photos today, and that’s absolutely okay. 💚

At Pyle Nutrition Club, every member’s journey is personal. Some members love sharing their photos and celebrating publicly, while others prefer to keep their progress private. Paula first came along to one of our sample evenings back in October, thinking she would only do one or two memberships. Little did she know just how much she would fall in love with the plan

💚 TRAINEE COACH LUCY – REVIEW NUMBER 3 💚

It was Lucy’s 3rd review this week and if I’m honest, she arrived feeling quite anxious about it 🤍

Having just come off a night shift, Lucy was worried that her results wouldn’t reflect the hard work she’s been putting in. Night shifts can have a huge impact on hydration levels, body composition readings, sleep quality, and how we feel overall, so she wasn’t feeling particularly confident heading into her review.

But this is exactly why we always look at the bigger picture. 👏

Lucy, I need you to see yourself the way everyone else sees you.

✨ 21lbs lost
✨ 2.8% body fat reduced
✨ Hydration increased by 1.2%
✨ 2 whole litres of visceral fat gone
✨ 0.5kg increase in muscle mass
✨ 76cm lost overall

And that’s not all…

Since starting in March, Lucy has navigated a busy block of life that included festivals, dance competitions, weekends away, work commitments and night shifts. She hasn’t hidden from life to get these results. She’s learned how to enjoy these occasions whilst staying focused on her goals and returning straight back to plan.

That is where real success happens.

Today was my turn 🤩🤩
January 2024 I started my own journey — not just physically, but mentally too.

As coaches, we spend so much time supporting everyone else that sometimes we forget the importance of checking in with ourselves too.
Today was my reminder of why reflection matters 🤍

I wanted to do this check in for me. To look back at how far I’ve come, appreciate the hard work, and recognise the changes that don’t always show up day to day.

✨22lbs gone.
✨9.4% body fat gone.
✨Visceral fat reduced into a healthy range.
✨Muscle mass increased.
✨BMR increased.
✨9 years off my metabolic age.
✨87cm gone.
✨Bone mass increased.

But more than the numbers, I feel stronger, healthier and more confident 😍

This journey reminds me exactly why I’m so passionate about helping and supporting all of you in yours.
Progress looks different for everyone, but every small step matters — and taking time to reflect on that is so important. 💚

One thing I really want to talk about is the stigma around “just drinking shakes” on a health journey…
It’s more than that, it’s about nutrition, balance, education, and learning what actually makes your body feel good.

I start every morning with my breakfast shake because it’s quick, convenient and packed with vitamins, minerals, protein and nutrients that help me start my day right.
It gives me a balanced breakfast and helps me stay on track with my goals — especially on busy mornings.

But I also LOVE food. I’m a proper foodie, and having real meals and enjoying food was something I always wanted to be a big part of my journey too.
This journey has helped me understand nutrition better, make healthier choices, and learn how different foods make my body feel.

It’s never been about starving myself or replacing every meal. It’s about creating healthier habits, fuelling my body properly, increasing my energy, and finding balance in a way that actually fits my lifestyle.
