I cut Daenerys Targaryen’s hair this morning!! Natural level 9!

Thank you for letting me cut your beautiful hair Emma!

Emma wanted to keep her length, so we compromised on what needed to come off by around .5 of an inch BUT she has to come back in 8-12 weeks to keep the hair looking healthy!

We popped some convex layers throughout the hair & finished it with a long sweeping fringe that can be pinned up after blowdrying and set to give that wispy feel 🧹

The graduated bob is a one of the most popular and versatile bobs on the bob scene, usually working well with most hair types ✂️

Originating back in the 1970s, the bob is a cultural icon in the hair industry symbolising rebellion from traditional gender norms 🙌🏽

The cut start shorter in the back, gradually transitioning to longer at the front. The is cut is flattering and can add volume and bounce to fine or flat hair or, if you hair is on the thicker side, weight can be removed and texture added to the top the top layer to create a well balanced hair cut with movement and bulk removal.

This style can be styled straight or wavy!

I’ve had the classic cut a few times and it is one of my favourite bobs to cut 🙌🏽

I wanted to echo some of the key points that Tom made in his article and highlight my own experience & technique with this gorgeous hair trend.

Firstly this isn’t orange hair and the final finish will depend on the hue and depth discussed during a consultation, although it is renowned for fading fast, as Tom highlights you can purchase and use copper shampoo!🧴

I have been supporting copper since this summer and I really feel it compliments my facial pallet. “Suiting the fairer complexion or those who have pink undertones” says Tom.

With or without a tan, this colour adds warmth to my features, bonus points if I have a tan too 😍

I mixed up my own unique formular using Topchic permanente colour by , I opted to blend a slightly darker/red hue root tint for a less harsh grow out & because I wanted to add some contrast to my colour!

I love it and looking back at old photos of my base 5 cool hair, I can just see my complexion glowing!
