Behind door 14🚪 we’re taking a moment to look back… so I thought we would share the very first pic posted on our Hairdressing Insta (you’ll have to scroll right through!)… along with a few other snaps of our first ever pictures…

As we went through to our very first Instagram post from seven years ago, one thing really stood out was, the hair.

The shapes, the colour, the finishes… it all still feels just as relevant today. Timeless, thoughtful, beautifully done hair that would walk straight out of the salon now and still feel completely right.

It’s also a reminder of the incredible people who’ve been part of this journey-past and present guests and team members who’ve shaped the salon, brought their creativity, their care and their energy into the space, and helped build what Dougie Johns is today. 🙏🏼

So today’s advent moment is a quiet nod to where we started, how far we’ve come, and the consistency of doing hair properly, with intention and heart. Some things never go out of style.
